Wow that's the same bottle I'm using. Sadly about 2 of them passed away but the others seem to be doing ok. I feel uncertain I can do this but there aren't many resources or alternatives so I'm caring for them no matter what. I had no idea you had to simulate their momma cat to get them going. You handle those kittens just fine. No rougher than the mother would. Some people just aren't happy unless they can make up something to bitch about.

One should ALWAYS support their feet -- especially the rear. That is fundamental to their sense of security. Not doing so renders them powerless and terrified.

To All That Matters: It is okay to handle kittens a little rough. It helps to stimulate them and that is what they need. If they had their Mom, she would toss them around and be rough with them. By instinct she knows that they need that.

You feed them, at least, every couple hours. They will also let you know that they are hungry. An eye dropper works, and they make bottles for small orphaned animals.

To people who dislike her, its because of you NEVER take care a kitten below a months years old. IT IS NOT EASY to take care and fed milk to a week years old kitten. Better you're try to take care kitten before you guys give a offense comment.

That's some very rough handling..... And i've fed my baby kittens like babys-and they turned out fine. My personal favorite-gizmo . baby kittens when being burped hold then up by your neck and let then hang out just under your chin........they love it and wont cry very much :U

for those of you who don't have available pet stores or kitten formula here is a couple of things that will help with newborn kittens if you can't get kitten formula Goats milk will do fine if you can get to add a couple of drops of human infants vitamins it will help it may constipated then a little so add a couple of drops of vegetable oil to the milk if you can't get Goats then you can use Human infant formula but instead of using two scoops of the power formula to two of water you use 4scoops of the formula to 2 of water again add the Human infant vitamins to the formula along with the few drops of vegetable oil so it won't get constipated as it get this is just if the kitten formula is not available or hard to find which happens in other countries if it wont feed from bottle use a latex free sponge and cut in a sort of triangle make a hole so it absorbs milk dipped on milk and firmly hold the kitten and also firmly open their mouth as they tend to be skirmy and wiggle a lot and gently squeeze a few drops and they should latch on afterwards if they still refuse at least it should be easier for you and them to be forced fed and they won't starve to death eventually they'll get the idea if you don't have a heating pad then grab a old pair of socks filled with rice put a knot at the end to closed and heat it in the microwave for a minute , a minute and a half and wrap it in something soft and put it next to the kitten it should keep it nice and warm like their mom will

I found a kitten in the neighborhood.. AND HOLY CRAP I'M STARVING IT :'( .. I don't have this kind of bottles and I just poked a tiny hole in a plastic bag and put milk in it but the cat refuses to drink. It's so tiny and I'm really afraid it would die and i have nobody to help me with it !!

hi any tips on how to take care of a five day old kitten that may have a neck injury. I am able to feed her n get her to pee but idk if they r supposed poop. she can't support her head n when she tries it leans to the right. is there anything I can do to make her normal again

If Someone Cant find bottle or something like that just take some good quality cotton dip in milk and feed its challenging But works 100% my kitten is great now

Hi, i really wondering how easy the kitten suck her bottle even she's so cranky like that. I wish my new baby kitten do the same thing as like ur cat. Because so far, when i give her bottle, she litterally only lick it just for a while.. let's say it's only took just for 3 second and so cranky again looking for her mom's nipple. Anyway, what type of milk did u used to feed them? It looks like the kitten love it. I use adult milk formula from nestle product but it seems she doesn't like it so much. my 5 day old kitten is almost half their size :/ i found her in my garden after the mother rejected her on her second day she probably didn't eat that day ... i took her home the third day and made the error of feeding her cow milk that day and the next but in small quantities every 2h (i didn't know it would hurt them) until today her 5th day i just switched to kitten formula... i don't know if it's because of her bad luck in nutrition the previous days but she is like the size she probably was on day one (a small mouse size) ... is it normal?

When bottle-feeding kittens, please always make sure they are belly down. Don't tip the kitten's head back. Try to put them in a position so that they can "knead" the mom's simulated belly. Kittens can ingest milk into their lungs and get pneumonia. Please be careful!
