Mastering NDB Approach | In-Depth Tutorial | A320 Family
Join us in Cologne / EDDK as we explore the NDB Approach, a non precision approach that you may fly in your screening to become an airline Pilot!
We'll go over all the fine detail that you'll need to fly a NDB approach on your own.
Throughout the flight, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the various checklists and procedures involved. From monitoring instruments and systems to managing the aircraft's performance.
For this video we went back in the Airbus A320 full flight simulator to show you how it's done in the Cockpit.
As an Airbus A330 Pilot I must say this simulator really works and feels like the real deal.

As a pilot with 4600h on the A320, i can tell you that this presentation is outstanding!
I am so grateful for these video's they're amazing and coming out just in time for my screening
That's great to hear! Thank you 🙌
I remember learning these during IFR training. We were then told to simply placard the NDB as INOP before FAA air checkman arrived. (Only needed to do an approach, the type isn't mandated) However if marked as INOP no worries abiut that being the type checkmen asks you to do.
Danke Pascal always great to see a NDB approach! 🤩😍👍🏼✈️😊
Thank you for all the tips that hopefully will save me with screening!
I was waiting for this one! Thank you, Pascal!🥂
Hope you Enjoyed it 😀
In flight school and just got my private, looking at what’s to come! I love your lifestyle videos!
Your content is really fun to watch pascal
Thank you 🙏
Lovely
very noice video👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 your video are very helpful for us future pilots
That's great to hear! Thank you 🙌
Weird, they had that German saying push the head and pull the tail at the US Army flight school too! Great explanation man.
Do the GLS approach next time. i never saw it in MSFS 2020, but i saw them in charts and i have 0 clue where to put that strange frequency in A320Neo.
Not supported in MSFS
@@wavesandsky Ok, but is it even possible to do GLS approach in A320neo or B747-8 in real life? Or this is only possible for most modern planes like A350 or B787?
It ll be helpful to display the chart while you’re flying.
Thanks for the tip! I will do that next time 🙌
Hey Pascal, quick question, what electronic logbook do you use ? I mean the one with the nice World map 🙂
Hey mate, I'm using PILOTLOG by CrewLounge ✌️
Pascal which do you prefer VOR or NDB approach, which is better for you? I think vor is better because of the vertical additional vector, right🤔
Correct i find it way easier to fly a VOR Approach compared to an NDB due to the additional vector! 🙌✈️
Danke
Immer gerne 🙌
@@Pascalklr Können wir mal zusammen in den Full flight sim in Grießheim? weil ich an weihnachten ein gutschein dafür bekomme
I have a question if for example I’m getting my first aviation job at easy jet a320 would I need to still do this or is this for transferring companies. If I need how do I learn it
😊
How did you become a a330 pilot so young
When I fly on vatsim the Tower always says: except ILS. When do you use a ndb or vor approach?
Ah ok Danke
Pascal, können wir mal zusammen in den Flugsimulator in Griesheim, weil ich bekomme zu Weihnachten einen Gutschein dafür😅
do you play flight simulator too?
not that often anymore ✌️
Is it hard to get into the European flight training academy
Depends, i would say Preparation is key 💪✈️
@@Pascalklr thanks
@@Pascalklrand another question how long will we be able to fly with you in the simulator because I might come to Germany this summer so will you still do it
