*Edits - On reflection, I decided to remove questions 11 and 12 because they were about the war in Ukraine and I think the tone of our conversation was not appropriate considering the solemnity of the situation. I regret not expressing my sincere condolences for the victims of the war.
Question 11 was about Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin and question 12 was about the % of land in Ukraine occupied by Russian forces at the end of 2023 (20%).

I just finished listening episode #862 on audio version and realised that Question #11 and #12 are missing. You jumped from Q10 to Q13. I thought it was only on podcast version but it appears that the KZhead version is also the same.

President Milei is now more moderate in his ways than when he was a candidate. However, he is really making the radical changes he proposed. We, Argentines, will still be facing difficult times, but I hope, like many people do, that Peronism never returns again.

OMG. up until now , I thought Stephen from SEND7 was Michael Lavers from Level Up English. I follow Michael on instagram. But whenever I listen to these World news Quiz Episodes, for some reason, It sounds like Michael talking to. I just saw the video picture, and go : What? Who is this ? p.s: Today I saw Stephen's face for the first time.

2 questions are missing, unfortunately.
I don't think there were any easy questions, although some of them were obvious to me - The Chainsaw Man rises up like a new rock star (being at the same time the libertarian politician with the strong economic plans) and British rock group which is still alive from the very '60s (is there any man who was not into rock music in those years and does not know the phenomena of The RS?). But all the other question were hard for me and complicated, the strange cases of the Dalai Lama and the Spanish football leader were completely hidden from my information bubble...

Great your advice to practice our speaking... What are your suggestions? The most effective way would be to talk to smb in english every day, but where can you ”acquire” this person without paying a fortune for one to one lessons😕. I've just resigned myself to my mediocre speaking skills... It's just frustrating when you want to get a better job, all companies require fluent spoken english right away, all they need is conversational skills, screw your listening, writing, grammar...

Thanks for interesting quiz. I didn’t know the answers for all questions, of course. But I certainly know the answers for the first and second questions in the 2nd part of this quiz. And I want to say it was so embarrassing for me to hear that tone of conversation when you both were discussing the war in my country. We have in Ukraine really real! awful war with dairy bombs, all kinds of rackets (russia fired 7500 missiles at Ukraine during 2 years). We are hearing thousands of explosions, seeing our people dying… But unfortunately at your podcast you are talking about occupation like about computer games. You didn’t ’t have any correctness, any world of regret for thousands of victims. It was so painful to listen your fun discussion. It’s not a fact of history- it’s our damn life. Our fear and pain. You didn’t say who is the aggressor and murderer in this war... 20% of territory- ha ha, cool
I am terribly sorry. I feel awful about this and plan to remove questions 11 and 12 because I agree that the tone is not right. I do find the events horrific and tragic and I regret not saying that during the recording of this episode.
