59 is a long freeway. I guess it is too much to ask for you to mention a cross street so we know where the hell this is? Especially since you advise people to "avoid the area". Who is in charge there? Seriously.

It’s was tough to find a road not flooded today. 2.5 hours to get to work. UPS person had a tough time getting from Cleveland to delivery package 📦 to Coldspring. Have to give credit and respect to those folks We appreciated their dedication stay safe out there

Me too! I am so worried about all of them on Morrow Hill. Especially worried about PawPaw and GiGi! The last report I heard was that they were both still at the hospital and may not be able to get back home due to the high water. Praying for everyone in south east Texas🙏🙏🙏
I don’t live in Texas, but instead of giving our money to other countries, we should invest & fix problems like this in our own country.

Ok got it! This video is taken south of Livingston before you get to Hwy 190 exit! From where 59 highway splits from Business 59 to loop around downtown Livingston.... drone is following the loop up to 190 exit. This is flooding just from heavy rainfall, not from either the Trinity River or the San Jacinto or East Fork.... there is no river near where this video was taken!

I wonder why they don’t build this freeway up higher they know this area floods every time they let out the water but yet they continue to not do anything about it
Uhmm, because in my living memory I cannot recall rain flooding the highway there like ever before. I go up to Lake Livingston often, what you are seeing in this video just hasn't ever flooded to my knowledge. My memory goes back to at least 1983 and Hurricane Alicia btw.
I'm thinking you didn't know where this area was when you posted your comment. It's just about a mile south of Livingston, and I've never seen nor heard of it flooding like that there. No river anywhere near that place, so this was just purely rainfall that fell there too hard and too fast.
