  • I think Conor is one of the few guys in UFC (perhaps the only one) who truly understands Bruce Lee's philosophy and that's why he will be the best.

Im lost for words and I believe that if there is a single person not a McGregor fan by now there is just no hope for them, they will always be jealous haters. Conor has really done it- unbelivable!

  • “It is the efficient fighter that always prevails” “I always prevail, and I am always confident that I can take whatever these people give me. I can walk through everything” “He secured 1 or 2 takedowns but again I knew, the efficient man prevails. In a fight to the death, The man who is efficient is the man who prevails.” “He was on top I stayed safe. I felt I was preserving energy, being efficient and when the opportunity rose to stand up, I attacked the gut.” “I felt the fight went exactly I said it would, like they usually do.” Conor taught me you must be efficient with your energy in order to prevail any adversity. You’ve done all the hard work; trust & believe in your shots. Whenever shit hits the fan, whenever you become overwhelmed, you MUST conserve your energy efficiently to prevail any obstacle.

  • As an MMA fan I've learn to look at UFC as a business, thats how you need to look at the UFC when you see something that doesn't add up. In regards to the Mendes and Macgregor fight, well The fight was mostly dominated by Mendes and if you watch closely it didn't make any sense why he(Mendes) would have lost the fight other than a serious injury or that he was paid big money to lose. the other comments about Mendes not having a full training camp and so on and so forth don't justify how he surrendered at the end by punches that weren't that solid compared to aldo's(my opinion of course) Is regrettable but thats how it looked to me as a fan of the sport.

I knew Chad would try to keep the fight on the ground but I knew Connor would punish him standing so much so Chad couldn't finish him. There's all this talk about Chad taking short notice fights but how many belts exchanged on short notice? Ufc will have to find a better stand up fighter to beat him, I don't think a fighter exists "yet"

    • Zinematic Fatal Conor is the man. There never was any doubt about it. Remember though that Joe Duffy was the one to force Conor to submit last time they met and they will probably be matched up again in about 18 months to two years time. Duffy is as good a boxer as Conor and can kick like a mule. Plus he is lightning quick with his take-down submissions. This has the potential to be one of the greatest MMA fights of all time.

  • Conor looked like he was sedated or under heavy influence of pain killers. I wonder if they are receiving meds as soon as they finish the fight? I remember the interview with Chuck Liddell on tv right after his fight. He was completely mouth smacked. He couldn't speak properly but there was no physical evidence that his mouth was injured to the extent that he couldn't talk properly.

    • Bobby Ricky It's just split skin from a sliding elbow. The cut bleeds a lot but it did no damage beyond that. You seem to be forgetting that block of Irish granite that landed flush on Mr. Mendes' head milliseconds before he crashed to the canvas.
