  • This is scary. I saw this car in a dream of mine a couple years ago about a war. Since then, I was on a search to find the car in my dreams until now. Doing research on it. Weird. Edit: The only reason that led me here was that I finally described it to my father since I was so stuck on it til' this day as he knows cars and just me describing to the Internet won't do good. He mentioned that it sounded like a.. "Naz. War jeep" so I looked it up, not getting my hopes up... I found it. Then started doing some light history. I knew there was already a back window type of flap from my dream and so I started looking at angles of the car and there was one. So I'm doing more and more research and then found this video. It might just be me since I was little, being obsessed with the military and maybe seeing the car once in my life that I don't remember until the dream. But the dream was oddly specific. And in my usual dreams, I feel like I have control except for this one and very few others. It feels very foggy, like a bunch of filters over the image in what my dream was but yet I remember weird details. I'm weirded out and thinking this is just majorly coincidental and me being a weird little kid back then. Who the heck names their stuffed rabbit, "America" I had right before kindergarten and my dad is curious as to why. He mentioned that I said in reply, "I serve the forces". 😂 But yeah I'm always grateful to have an opportunity to learn about history. I yearn to learn more.

  • D@mn, i live in the Battle of the Bulge area, Belgium, and i did not find it. It looks great and atleast he knows it is an original one. Is this example with 4 -wheeldrive? I have a 1940 Opel Kadett, under restauration now. The Dunkel Gelb, dark yellow was adapted in about February 1943.

  • Hi. Very nice description of the vehicle but one detail is not correct. The auxiliary fuel tank above the engine had not been used to carry liquid ether. Liquid ether had been usually carried in a small can on the left wall of the engine compartment so it could be injected into connecting tube right above carburetor. The auxiliary fuel tank had been filled with ordinary gasoline to overflow the carburetor with gasoline by its own gravity under conditions like when fuel pump was not able to pull gasoline from the main fuel tank at the front of the vehicle and push it up into the carburetor (extreme cold, fuel lines dried out etc.).
