What's both funny and sad is that many of them are truly terrible golfers. I've literally seen kids at my local, council run course play far better than most of the snobs in those elitist country clubs. It's all just a status symbol for them to flex. Every time I see stuck-up 'golfers' I think about that wonderful scene in Falling Down and it cheers me up.

Despite getting more screentime than a normal ad read, it felt less disruptive to the flow and was even supplemental to the narrative. This is just my theory, but I imagine he/his team wanted to name Fontaine at first, but they didn't have the in-game footage to show it off at the time. But by the time they did receive the Fontaine teaser footage, they'd already changed the name to Enkanomiya in the script because it was a water-themed place you could already visit in the game

Max is one of the few youtubers who has ever changed my outlook on life. Specifically in the sense that watching him really showed me how much you can get away with by just asking people or confidently walking around acting like you belong. As someone who has attended a fair number of anime conventions is the US, security is actually pretty tight. I think most of it has to do with the fact that they need to screen each person’s cosplay itself to make sure nobody’s cosplay weapon is a real one and that it is registered and kept and eye on if it is.

It also slows down the pacing of your group and the groups behind you, which is a big no no. Maybe I misheard it, but did you say that "Enkanomiya" is the Hydro Nation? Enkanomiya is a region that's separate from the original Teyvat world map. Sounds confusing, but it makes sense when you play the game. The Hydro Region, that hasn't been unlocked to players yet, is called "Fontaine". Hilarious video though XD

I can vouch for anime conventions' security. They take their jobs seriously. They constantly hound you to show your badge of admission. Even if you're already in the convention, if you attend a panel, theres security on the inside of the door and as you walk by you have to hold up your badge which it's very distinguishable so they can easily catch anyone trying to fake it. However, there are still ways to slip by which me and my friends did last year, we had tickets, we just skipped the entire 3 hour long line. How? You had to wear a wristband that basically said you had gotten the Covid vaccine or you were tested within the last week and were negative for Covid. They were handing out wristbands at the front door so standing in line was the only way to get one. But we found some random staff outside helping with the long line and we convinced them to give us wristbands so we got them and then just walked to the front of the line like "heeeeey, we already got checked and approved" and they just let us in. This year, instead of going through the front entrance, we're going to go through the back as the convention center is attached to a hotel by like a tunnel. Still will be a long line, shorter than the main one I'm sure, but it's inside instead of in the 80-90 degree heat.

What's both funny and sad is that many of them are truly terrible golfers. I've literally seen kids at my local, council run course play far better than most of the snobs in those elitist country clubs. It's all just a status symbol for them to flex. This is just my theory, but I imagine he/his team wanted to name Fontaine at first, but they didn't have the in-game footage to show it off at the time. But by the time they did receive the Fontaine teaser footage, they'd already changed the name to Enkanomiya in the script because it was a water-themed place you could already visit in the game

Golf is literally a waste of space
Max is one of the few youtubers who has ever changed my outlook on life. Specifically in the sense that watching him really showed me how much you can get away with by just asking people or confidently walking around acting like you belong. Also the unlimited power of high vis lol. If there's ever something I want to do now instead of assuming it's impossible I just try and over half the time it works.

As someone who has attended a fair number of anime conventions is the US, security is actually pretty tight. I think most of it has to do with the fact that they need to screen each person’s cosplay itself to make sure nobody’s cosplay weapon is a real one and that it is registered and kept and eye on if it is.
