First Wash in 40 Years: RARE Fiat Dino Moldy Disaster Detail!
Go to squarespace.com/ammonyc to get a free trial and 10% off your first purchase of a website or domain. This 1967 Fiat Dino was imported from Italy by a vet stationed overseas back in the 1980s. The Dino sat for many years until it was entrusted with my buddy Kenny to find a new owner. In preparation for the Dino’s sale, we perform a full detail and intensive paint correction. Later on, my neighbor Steve helps get the engine running and a new exhaust system is fitted. Enjoy the episode for an incredible before and after of this beloved Italian sports car.

Whenever I am too lazy to wash my car I just tell myself I’m preparing content for you to do in 30 years
I doubt he’s going to be washing customer cars himself in 30 years
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Anybody remember watching Larry detail outside freezing his butt off? How far this has come. Really cool to have followed his journey so far.
I remember when he deep cleaned his wife's silver Subaru
After working in the construction industry for over 40 years, I have to say I admire the fact that you wear a mask in the conditions you work in. Also, your videos are awesome. I only wish there were more of them to watch.
More videos coming soon thanks for watching!
There really is nothing better watching someone so passionate and amazing at their craft. Always a pleasure. Wish you were in Canada to do my grandfathers 1965 marlin. It’s been sitting for as long as I can remember
This stunning little Fiat Dino captivates with its beautiful lines, and your meticulous detailing truly enhances its overall charm.
That blue Ferrari at 2:08😲💙
Even with the “rainbow” of paint, that is one gorgeous little runabout. Never seen one of these before this, probably never will, but when I do, I’ll know what it is and appreciate it. Even if it isn’t as beautifully clean as this one turned out to be.
Agreed, beautiful Pininfarina design
Thank you for these videos Larry, I've missed them even though it's been a few weeks. Always the perfect balance of information, entertainment, history, storytelling, and passion that's inspiring to witness
More videos coming soon thx for watching!
Amazing transformation Larry!! These videos never get old. Bravo 👏🏼
Love that you’re playing Tool in the background. Great video
Gave my brand new car it's first good wash today, following everything I've learned from you so far and hearing your voice while doing it haha. Thanks for the lessons and great content Larry!! You the man! I own a VW Caddy because I'm a drummer, travelling with his gear a lot. Means a great deal to take care of my car ánd business the right way. So although I'm not working in the car industry your content and attitude still made a great impact on my life. Greetings from The Netherlands!
wow so many identical parts to my Fiat 124 spider, you know that very well. You cleaned!! The car it's running and driving pretty good, took me a couple of months over weekend to bring it back to life but it's a blast
Nice to see a good rust-free barn find
I've NEVER seen a Fiat Dino before. This is a work of art, and seeing it cleaned up and shiny, it's just a stunning car. I wonder if the original color was the same color of yellow on the steering wheel center cap. 🤔
Stunning, even prettier than the Ferrari Dino 206/246, in my opinion.
More years ago than I care to talk about, a friend of mine had a Fiat 850 Spyder. Tiny little engine. That car was the most fun to drive. Top down on a sunny day, oh yeah. Great barn find and as expected it looks marvelous. With the V6 in it someone is going to get a very special car.
It takes a village... fantastic transformation, Larry. It's a joy to watch you work!
I love watching these old cars get transformed into a beautiful gem. Your videos are brilliant. Keep them up!
0:07 A kei truck sitting on Watanabe's. Never thought i would see those 2 things together
Who would think you would see Japanese wheels on a Japanese vehicle 😮
the class and beauty of Italian cars is unattainable for everyone, including germans car. 🇮🇹 ♥️
These episodes are my favorite. Thanks for the amazing content Larry! ❤️😎
The Fiat looked fabulous when you and your colleagues finished working on it. Thank you,
Hey Larry, I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to detail my own car! I decided to teach myself how to wet sand orange peel out of clear coat on my own car, a poorly-repainted 2008 Honda Civic Si. Sure, I’ve spent well over 50 hours on the car, but I am about to finish, and it looks absolutely stunning! Thank you again for inspiring me!
I have noticed that whenever my exams are around he purposefully uploads the most tempting video.
That car gives off strong vibes of the car driven by Dustin Hoffman in the 1968 movie "The Graduate" (though I believe the car in the movie was a 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto).
What an amazing transformation, a beautiful car. Good save.
The transformation is beyond insane. Holy crap
Man... Cars back then had CLASS
I really love the fact that you a listening to Tool while working. Great taste man.
*Awesome work, reminds me the first video i watched on your channel 8 years ago, about polishing window on convertible audi ❤*
thx for the support!
I think this is one of the best ones the paint is amazing
Larry, your work never ceases to amaze, you are a true magician and head and shoulders above every other detailer. Brilliant. Bravo!
The Fiat Dino is such a good looking car.
Larry, what an awesome preservation!! Someone will love this car for years to come!!!!
Mike Brewer on Wheeler Dealers refurbed a Fiat Dino coupe a few years back. Beautiful car.
The fact Larry is bumping tool while correcting makes me love him that much more
What an amazing transformation, awesome job as always Larry. What a great looking car, I’ve never seen one of those.
Didn't expect to hear Tool in the background. Love your videos!
Looks fantastic. And with a two-litre V6 running triple carburettors. What a jewel of an engine.
The video is much more interesting when auto detailing is combined with some kind of mechanical work. Great job! Keep up the awesome work Larry!
A BEAUTY 🥰!! Great job and always love your enthusiasm 👍
That was a cool car and will look and drive so well when restored! These older cars are so much cooler than today’s cars.
I love that you were listening to Tool while detailing lolol. good taste !
The multi colours of the car kills me but man do I love Larry, easily one of my favourite people. Love the passion he brings and how much fun he’s having doing projects like these. Car turned out great.
Great Work. She looks Super Fine. Larry your detailing videos are a Therapy. Please don't stop. We need more. Been here since the start. All Love from India. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I remember seeing one of these when I was much younger. Such an awesome little car. Looks like a blast to drive!
Oh how we’ve missed you! Welcome back Larry. ❤
Omg such a rare find, and in really good condition as well! I love how (as you have pointed out) the different kind of paint on the sides lol, i think it's cool to see tho. I hope she will find someone who will love her as much as the previous owner did.
Well ideally someone who loves her a little more so she actually gets driven and is enjoyed.
Listening to Tool while working. Good man! 👍
The ammo intro was absolutely phenomenal. You don’t disappoint Larry!
I appreciate it!
I love Fiat Dino cars and this made my Saturday morning better, thanks Larry!
Liking and commenting for the algo! Great job Larry!
@17:40 I wish more people raised awareness of the danger of old tires. There are way too many people online who'll tell you they're fine if the treads OK but in reality if your tyres are old you're basically driving around with a ticking time bomb on each wheel.
Did a black 1970 2400 spider just over a year ago and man what a sound that V6 makes is a symphony
Chrome with real glass headlights; absolutely beautiful. Nice one, Larry!
Thank you!
What a beauty...thanks Larry
That's a really unique car. Loved the video. Thank you Larry!
Very beautiful. I love these old Fiats. Thank you.
These are some of my favorite videos. Bringing a neglected or abandoned car back to life. Especially when it is so deserving👍👍👍
What’s that I heard in the background? A little nod to the Tool show we saw, huh? 😁 Too bad we didn’t hear a 46 & 2 though!
Very cool car...Front grille and headlight assembly looks a lot like a Triumph Stag...Don't remember whether or not Pininfarina had a hand in the Triumph's design but it wouldn't surprise me...Thanks for sharing...
The Stag was drawn at about the same time but by Giovanni Michelotti. But I know what you mean.
Gorgeous car. Beautiful work...as always!
LOVE this car and your work is as ever supreme (and you listen to Tool so another plus point!)
Wow what a diamond in the rough. You really brought out the shine!
Love the Tool track over the Dino emblem polish. Great episode Larry!
That is a great-looking car....timeless. Great job LK!
As always great content, we all would love to have a friend like you!
A happy Saturday, indeed! ❤
Beautiful car! Nice job Larry.
Awesome job Larry
Solo noi italiani possiamo fare queste opere d'arte... 😉👍🇮🇹
13:20 - Tool in the background, nice.

What an incredible car! One of my favorite videos! Great job! Keep up the awesome work Larry!
Nice heard a bit of tool playing my fav band 🤟
These dino spiders would have to be one the best looking cars fiat has ever produced.
That's insane! What a gorgeous car!
Beautiful car. Amazing transformation!
Amazing … fabulous job Larry !

A nice surprise.
Unbelievable recovery
Would've never guessed in a million years that you were a fan of Tool, Larry. Thats pretty sweet
That front end is giving 67 Camaro vibes. Such a beautiful rarity!
Excellent music taste Larry, love the here tool in the background 😂 Fourth two and six is just a top tier song 👌
We heard you listening to Tool. Hell yes 🤘🏼
Nice car...I like It so much from first day I saw one this in blue
I love this channel, thanks Larry.
Glad you enjoy it!
100% italian approved, amazing as always!
One of the best episodes 👏🏻
What a PRETTY little car, mismatched paint and all. You could sell that image at 22:10 as a poster in the Ammo store!
Car looks so spectacular!
Absolutely incredible transformation once again! Even with different types of paint. Really popped with the new tires! 👌
Incredible transformation

Yeah I caught that too. Larry all about the cool cars and cool music!
At minute 13:22 some good music playing, and you got the right TOOL for the job
What a beauty ...brought back to live.
Such a good video. Car turned out great. Would love to see it with a fresh coat of paint though.
