my best bro sonny looking handsome thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your best bro viki 💙
That was certainly the BEST episode. At first I thought: wow, they’re going to kill a Buffalo? But then to see how the community get together to share the meal was awesome! Thank you for the great content!
i am from souht africa and sonny shoed go to cape town there is good food to eat
hi
Even as a native South African, it still shocks me that with all the dangerous animals I've seen, herbivores are still responsible for the most deaths
Simple people keep fucking with their habitat
Remember that scene in Jurassic park when they said "it's ok, we're safe, they're plant eaters?" That scene made me literally LOL. Herbivores are much more dangerous than carnivores
It's very clear why they are dangerous.
@One Autumn Leaf not in Africa. Everything that loved eating humans back then like Lions, Leopards, Crocodiles and Hyenas are still around.
@One Autumn Leaf how many people have the lions killed i wonder.
This show has transcended from a food show to a cultural experience. Well done Sonny and team. 10/10 content
Or to a butchery.
Cultural experience?? Get bent tool.
Just wait for the all the triggered ones to arrive after they wake up at noon.
@@LostCause36 so having ethics is being triggered?
The show is God Tier😤
This is my favourite KZhead channel. The respect and willingness to embrace other cultures by Sonny is beautiful to see.
mark weins is the best
@@truthseeker5645 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Better than Nat Geo channel really....u deserve an award...
Thats what you folks need to do
Yes, never seen such a way to respect some one. BTW what's ur favorite calibre? If God willing I would be lucky to welcome u in my pot
Uncle Avril's reaction when you told him you're taking the meat to his village was priceless 🤣
It seems no matter where you go in the world there's always someone wearing a Brazilian football jersey lol
They make World Cup jerseys with each gaining a star for both teams that make it to the finals. To be prepared to sell for whichever team wins. The jerseys of the team that loses get donated across the world. Brazil happens to be really good at soccer and has made it to the finals the most out of any team.
Brazil is probably 90% of young children's favorite football teams here.
Also several Buffalo Bills Superbowl Championship Jerseys
We have sundowns they wear same jersey with Brazil
And drinking Heineken.
😂Avril is a man of a few words, he let's his actions speak for him.Love him🔥
THAT was one of the best videos I have ever seen on all of KZhead! Genuine suspense and danger mixed with a great charitable act for the village. Sonny's friend was a fantastic co-host too.
100%
This is, without a doubt, the best show on KZhead for documentaries and food. There is no other show that has this level of production value and genuine passion.
This is not just a food review channel....This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman. 👍🥰🥰
I'm a South African and been following this show for some longest time, I must say , this edition has well captured the real south African story without any bias. Big ups guys
I'm South African myself but I'm learning so much from these videos. This channel is a gift
There's a lot more to our beautiful country's diverse cuisine, but this show has presented the few with absolute dignity and reverence. Well done Sonny and the team.
Love how you've delved into all things South African...such a fantasticly varied country and peoples.
Very true
he is fr blessing us lol, avoided us for so long now he`s giving us a new vid everyday
All this jackass delved into is killing an animal that had no chance to get away.
This channel produces the Best Food Review documentary ever as its name. Every episode never disappoints. Sometimes, I honestly feel so lucky and grateful for their Interesting and Best Quality videos. And of course, it's free.
Love Avril. Such a warm, wise gentleman.
I am currently in Germany, but still stay in Port Elizabeth also. This Steytlerville area is close by and this video makes me miss home very much....great vlog because it catches the essence of the Eastern Cape.
I have found that, over the course of the last year or so, that I have totally abandoned all other food channels except this one, and boy I can't wait for new ones as Sonny's team prepares them! I really wish that Food Network and Travel Channel had taken Sonny back then when Andrew and Anthony had their shows, but then we wouldn't have all of this freeform travel food-umentaries that are so well cinematically and audibly made that it's like crack for my brain! Bravo Sonny! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Jupp just think all the restrictions they woulde have on the show
Thanks for taking us on this adventure with you
👌👌
F**k you have a great weekend
awesome sonny...ur helping the community as well in ur video...a full stomach is really a nice feeling to have when u contribute
This was just epic! Thank you all guys for the time and effort taken
ohh sonny sonny 🥺💔today you brought me to tears 🥺this was a wonderful gesture this is the most overlook population in our country I hope God continues to bless the whole B.E.FR.S crew🥺
I get were u coming from but this is not the only time. A lot of the fests he does, they donate the food to small villages around. Even when he travels to eat camels, etc from farmers, he purchases them. Check the Pakistani video...
@@samuelkundael3503 nooooo Pakistan eat camels just the way we eat cows...but going to an extent of killing a zebra and a buffalo , a heritage that I grew up learning just cause someone can pay, it's sad... some YT content creators do the opposite , they purchase the wild animals from buyers and realize them back to safe area. So tomorrow he will shoot a lion just cause he can pay and want to feel how it taste...
@@dicksonkiiru609 You missed the entire point. The camel part refers to Uzbekistan. The part about Pakistan, I am referring to the generosity he showed to the mountain people by inviting the village to eat with them because he bought a mountain cow. Also in Vietnam he did the same with the buffalo.
@@samuelkundael3503 they weren't saying it was the only time they're saying in general it's a over looked part of the population
@@stephanieann6622 people deleted their comments so you a missing the context of my responses
I love how he respects every country’s culture and the food in general. Not like other food reviewers, he doesn’t criticise. He makes the people happy. Very well done
Agreed. Most people just eat food and rate beauty or taste but totally ignoring the reason why certain people make food in unconventional ways which may be not necessarily palatable. But understanding culture and environment tends to shed light to this things.
i love that no matter where he go its like he knows them people for 10 years gives me chills everytime
Blessings to you and your buddy for doing this for the community, this was awesome gesture
killing innocent animals and feeing it you mean this is a gesture wake up man

@@dheerajpatil3380They fed a village with that animal. Grow up
Sonny, LOVE your videos. My kids and I watch frequently and, as a result, my children are trying all sorts of new things such as century eggs, etc. That said, there is something I've noticed in your videos from time to time. There is a difference in loin and tenderloin. Backstrap is the loin and runs alongside the spine on the dorsal side of the body. Tenderloins are smaller and run along the inverse side of the ribs, inside the rib cage. T-Bones, pork chops, lamb chops, etc. are loin and filet mignon is tenderloin. Small detail but it means a huge difference in tenderness, price, location and quality of meat cuts.
Thanks for this! One day i'll memorize the meat cuts properly.
Pork...disgusting food
Thank you
Hey, Shakil, can you not be an asshole? Thanks.
@@SSonny-qs6kv Bosudike, Samjo, Sikho Jara, you will go hell onday
Lol Avril is a Coloured. A mix of Asian, European and some local African. A good chunk from the population brought in by the VOC, as well as mostly those many thousands of freed slaves dumped in the Cape by the British Navy in the 19th century. There is no such historical organic culture/tribe called Khoisan. Khoe-san is 1) either a clumsy historic way-of-life abstraction i.e. pastoralism (Khwe) or hunter-gatherering/ foraging. (san) OR 2) An abstraction in the academic fields of linguistic regarding pattern language classification found in the desert of the Kalahari of Namibia/Botswana or the Northern Cape ( largely moribund like Latin in North Cape). Large sections of extant cultures like the Xhosa, Tswana/Sotho & Coloured populations share ancestry, but this weird habit over the last few years of substituting the abstract term khoisan because some mixed people of colour don't have a native culture, but are culturally colonial servant class culture-based & Afrikaans (Dutch)-speaking, is just daft. No culture in history defines themselves as an abstraction created by European colonists if they were actually an organic historical culture. Incidentally it is the evolved modern living culture in the former colonial native reserve of the Cape, I.e. XHOSA, that maintain millennia-old *organic* Khwe cultural practices like "Ingqithi".
Respect to you brother(and your team) for showing the real South Africa.. and the People of our Country.. Nice. Great Show..
One of my favorite food channels moved up to the top of the list with your last two videos. Field to table
I love that Sonny is really covering the food experience that South Africa has to offer. We may have political issues but the food and cultural experiences one gets here is like no other.
Paying $10,000 to hunt really isn't an experience most of us will have, it's for the privileged few.
@@ktlivingherway516 just like most you can save up money and do it too
Every country has political challenges. Really hate how South Africans always wanna include this bit of commentary in everything. We really need to learn to enjoy things without talking problems.
@@ktlivingherway516 aww yass, it's always a matter of privilege, not hard work. Piss off.
@@nlocnil3602 yeah every country does have political issues but the blatant corruption and theft that is crippling our infrastructure is worrying. Majority of politicians are corrupt but SA is really trying to outdo everyone. When Billions are stolen and people start to accept it as normal there's cause for concern.
This really is THE BEST EVER food review show!
It is!
😡😡😡
If you like watching a coward kill trapped animals I wonder how that is the best ever anything.
@@UncleDaveSayz he ate it afterwards!
Just cuz he raw-dogs medium-rare nutsacks doesn't mean he's the best, lol
Love the way you truly show the truth, that nothing goes to waste and everything goes to the community.
I love when a beast is taken for food to fill a tribe
To be able to bless an entire village with food for even a single day has got to be one of the best feelings ever! I've watched your channel Sonny for some time now. I've commented before on how much I can appreciate your efforts as well as everyone else's that takes part in bringing this awesome content to us. I tried to bless someone everyday for as long as I can remember. It truly is better to give than to receive. I'd like to know what some of your bucket list things are. I'm sure it's a pretty good collection of gifts for others. If we could do one thing everyday selflessly for another the world would be a beautiful place. Please stay safe and keep bringing us more videos.
Dude these south African vids are seriously the best ever this is definitely better then you're other vids
This is brutal this activity should be totally stopped
Feeding people in need?
Greg saying "So I told my wife there was nothing to worry about" was classic, but then, cutting to him standing up in the bed of a truck, getting hit in the head by a tree? Priceless.
This is an amazing show. I’ve been watching for years but every time I do, I respect the story telling and respect for cultures. I’ve learned a lot. Thank you for continuing this work.
This is THE best food review show. Youve come such a long way Sonny, you doing it brother. Also, Greg is awesome bring him back!
Love your buddy Greg! You two make a good team
wrr
This is amazing. I love seeing where the food comes from. Hunting to eating is soul fulfilling.
The kohi sun people are the most impressive trackers and hunter back in the day they could run days after the animal that they wanted to kill through the heat of the african sun
That was a nice clean shot. Unlike the zebra, I’m still sad for the poor guy 😢
Dont be the zebra died a much better death than being eaten alive
@@svenngunnarrustgard1228 what if some one told you that after they killed you. Saved you from old age hahaha.
@@tritrungnguyen5580 rarely is it old age that kills them
@@svenngunnarrustgard1228 Indeed. And even if it was - everything dies eventually. Many times hunters are targeting the older and larger animals that are towards the end of their lifespan anyways (either that or cull hunting to remove unhealthy individuals from the population). Taking an animal at this time and using it for food is much less wasteful than letting it die of natural causes and rot on the plains for carrion to devour.
It was like ten seconds between shots. Imagine watching wild dogs or hyenas eat his guts while he's alive and watching them. That 30 second death was a blessing.
as the channel name, this is the best food review channel. very good storytelling, the process of getting food ingredients, even though youtube doesn't like blood but you guys still try to include videos of the processing of the meat and it's really great. sharing the hunt for the good of the community, and giving them the opportunity to show the way they prepare food. You guys are the best!
I love a story of a fellow hunter traveling to africa to hunt in conservation. He was greeted by the imigration with a warm welcome after knowing he will be doing the big 5
ons gaan nou braai! mense! its good to be South African!
Sonny never forgets the beer😂
that wasn't a hunt. it was an execution. but bet it all tastes the same.
Next time you come to the states you should have Greg join you as a cohost! Enjoyed seeing him on these videos.
Greg made an awesome guest/cohost. Would love to see him more often.
Thanks, Sonny. What a video this was! I can only imagine how much you needed to pay to put that feast up. Starting from the cost of the buffalo, the cost of bringing in a professional cook, and other miscellaneous costs of feeding the whole village in such an epic video. Your show has transcended from being a food show to being a depth exposure and understanding of other ways of life and cultures.... Thanks and God's continued blessing.
cost of the buffaloe?
This channel is able to provide the best content every time they post a video
Great show! Awesome bull! Spent 10 days in South Africa and have missed it every day since I left, as always great representation of the country and the people, just keep doing what your doing, don’t change and don’t let up!
Glad you enjoyed it here, please come back; you are always welcome here!
Great show of all that Africa has to offer, the places and people you meet and overall content is excellent. We in Africa appreciate all your support
I think I didnt watch the channel for a while. Wow did the quality go up! Love the color grading, and obviously the content itself is amazing! And off course, absolutely awesome host. Came back after seeing him on JRE.
Greg should be on the show more you two work great together.
Wow! Such an awesome video. My grandfather grew up in Fullarton and visited the village myself about 3-4 years ago.
I love your show so much, I never miss an episode. But, at the same time it kills me. Why? You're doing something I have only been able to dream of for years and years. Not the hunting part, but traveling around the world, meeting other cultures and enjoying the different foods they eat and even getting to be a part of the process. I am trying my best, to live my dream through you haha. Thanks for these videos. No way I could afford to do it, but your videos give me the chance to at least see and hear it.
Sonny I love your videos I am from South Africa and also go hunting every year. Thank you for supporting the hunting industry and giving food the the community's. Come back soon.

They are bizzare and pathetic tbh
Well said, I can’t agree with you more. He is very respectful, even when he is being funny. His jokes are still picked correctly and nothing is meant to make any culture/people look bizarre or whatever for shock value.
Most dangerous animal in Africa is humans 😂 in the entire world for that matter
Awesome stuff dude. Thanks for showing off our great country of South Africa. Hope to see you back here soon
Respect to Sonny's friend he seems super game for anything. Good friend to have.
