As ever, the 2023 Power List was determined by four main metrics: money, media, impact and spheres of influence. For political leaders, we weighed gross domestic products and populations; for corporate chiefs, revenues, valuations and employee counts were critical. Media mentions and social reach were analyzed for all. The result: 100 women who are shaping the policies, products and political fights that define our world.

  • What is the big deal about Taylor Swift?? I work with women in the Cardiac ICU who work so hard and earnestly every. single. day. saving lives, so that mothers, fathers, grandparents and children can go home to their families and to just LIVE for one more day. These women are the most beautiful and powerful women that I know, definitely not Taylor Swift.

    • Maybe you should research Taylor Swift QUITE a bit more before you ignorantly disparage her. She does FAR more for the world then merely write and perform music. Oh, and you might see her visiting sick children in your ICU sometime as well.

    • The people you mention maybe beautiful but not powerful, taylor swift requested her fans to vote and they did, thats power, there was a diplomatic issue in asia because singapur made a deal with her, thats power. Her fans could be a country, thats power.

  • European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is number 1 for governing 400+ million while Indian Finance minister Shri. NIRMALA SITARMAN is governing 1.4 billion is on 32nd rank Kudos to the logic behind it !
