  • Can confirm. It's actually really frustrating, and you get really sick of being tested on it everywhere you go. I went to college for music, and intentionally told no one I had it so I wouldn't have to be a pitchpipe like I was in high school. I hear pitch reverberating from lights, fans, cars, etc. And when someone is out of tune, it can be painful. It's a double edged sword. Believe it or not, perfect time is even more rare than perfect pitch- I've only ever met one human metronome, and his talents were insane

    @willkinney5051@willkinney50512 жыл бұрын
    • I wish I had perfect timing. I have perfect pitch as well, but not perfect timing. I mean, I’ve memorized some beats per minute when playing with certain loops in my music and knowing what bpm they were set at, so maybe I could train myself to have perfect timing? Who knows.

My dad was a pretty quiet kid. Funny but not a troublemaker, generally, he was just in his own musical world. Anyway, he tried to imitate it, ended up imitating the exact pitch and length of the note and the whole class stood up and left like 25 minutes early 😂 The teacher kept looking at the clock mega confused and the class just awkwardly stood in the hallway waiting for classes to get out, not understanding what was going on lmfao My dad, not wanting to get in trouble just went along with it and pretended not to know a thing 😂

That's only used as comparison to that because of how instantaneous someone who is a kid can say their colors. You cannot do the same with perfect pitch. Perfect pitch is something u can only "learn" as a baby to 2 years old. Relative pitch is only possible. But they're two different things. And no perfect pitch does not fade with age...
