Rose is super slept on and a gem! But hey, would love to see a more advanced video on how to straight line it on a board
Follow the fall, trust your board...
What resort is still open?!?!?!😢
NEVER* go FLAT on your board as a Beginner. ALWAYS engage your Toe edge or Heel edge even if you're going "straight." That tidbit is something that Advanced riders seem to take for granted when teaching Beginners. (*Never, except for the brief moment that you are transferring from Toe to Heel and vice-versa).
Knowing how to flatbase can be the difference between getting across a very long flat or back up a rise, or having to take your board off and hike. Especially on a rental. No you shouldn't flat base on a hill, but getting confident at it should happen simultaneously to learning to use your edges. Which is not beginner beginner, but before you could be called an intermediate.
@@trex2957 A begginer is going to face-plant (or ass-plant) the moment after they go flat on their board and gain a little speed that they're not used to. And in a long flat spot, you can still keep an edge. Either way a beginner is likely going to need to stop, unstrap and skate a bit, or walk.
They need to learn it. You cant always sit on an edge. There's a long way between a beginner beginner and an intermediate.and when they arectransitioning they should be learning to up weight, not just flatbase.
@@trex2957 Yeah, eventually. But in the beginning NEVER go flat on your board.
Let’s goooooo!
Hiiiii Kevin
Straight and or narrow?
