You could say that about anyone on their day. Hendry made six centuries in eight frames. Judd Trump made eleven ironically against John Higgins in a final absolutely annihilated him. Hendry trailed 8/0 and came back to win 9/8 And Osullivans stats demonstrate his ratio of frame wins over losses is better, much better than JohN Higgins. Who quite frankly should have been banned from snooker for match fixing years ago

Snooker's King of Thieves and perhaps the greatest tactician the game has, and will ever produce. The number of times in his illustrious career he has won frames he had no right to win, in addition to a trophy case that to many is nothing more than a dream, suffice him to the title of one the greatest players ever to pick up a cue, and when he is on song, he is a foe that few have the skill to challenge.

Higgins played in the era of true greatness with the brilliant O'Sullivan and Williams.He still managed 4 World's,9 Majors,over 30 Ranking events where he won the majority of them in the 5 or 6 ranking events a season era.He has over 50 professional Tournaments and he's still competing despite not having any where near the consistency he had up to 2011 but every now and again he gets that back for a week and it reminds us of how lethat he was in his prime.Ronnie O'Sullivan is widely regarded as the greatest ever and he is to be fair but when I hear Ronnie speak about the best players he's played and he's played them all Ronnie says that it's between Higgins and Hendry as to whose the greatest.Like us all depending on how he's thinking and feeling he will pick John today and Stephen tommorow.I remember Higgins playing O'Sullivan in a big final where he beat Ronnie 9-2 with 4 centuries in a row.Seldom has Ronnie lost by such a big score but when a guy makes 4 Centuries in a row what do you do there.If it is me I'd relax and enjoy what my opponent is doing because you'd gladly pay to see it. I'm not sure if anyone else has because maybe they have but I'm very sure no player has done it in a TV Final which is snooker at the highest standard a human can play.Also to get to the 2017/2018 and 2019 World finals when we'll past his prime best let's you know what he could do with his b game and to be honest he really should have won the 2017 title because he was playing decent on the first day but play very poor on the second day.In 2018 he never really had a chance because despite playing very well to win 8 out of 9 frames vs Williams to get back to 1 frame Williams made 2 big breaks which started with a long pot and made 70 qplus twice to win and in the 2019 Final Higgins play some very good snooker early as did Trump and when John was 5-4 up the table was waiting to be cleared and he really should have taken a 2 frame lead but he missed 1 he'd never have missed in his prime and Judd made 7 centuries and 15 breaks over 50 which has only ever been beaten by O'Sullivan on 5 occasions in 17 vs John in this year's semi and 16 vs Judd in the final.Yet I think people sometimes forget how hard it was to beat this snooker all time great in his best years from 2a006 to 2012.He will always be in the discussion when they talk about the best ever.

It's pretty obvious what went on. Barry Hearn's dream for world snooker was in jeopardy. It was damage limitation. Higgins was ranked number 1 at the time. If he had been severely punished, It would have set back snooker for years. reputation takes a lifetime to build, a second to lose. The BBC were complicit too. Hazel Ervine said "Joh Higgins had been "completely exonerated" That was a brazen lie. His manager resigned immediately, why resign if you did nothing wrong. And we have all seen the video, which speaks for itself. If Higgins was so "afraid" why did he continually interject into the conversation thus delaying getting way from this "danger" like speaking about how he could hide the money. it has never been explained why they went to the Ukraine why neither of them mentioned a word of what happened. some thing they are supposed to do if they are approached like that. It stinks. The really sickening thing is players struggling to make ends meet who have cheated have got effectively lifetime bans. But this rich player at the top of his profession with his villa etc. has forever tainted the game all honest snooker players love.

He's a disgrace to the game. Barry Hearn ensured he got off. I actually wrote a complaint to the BBC when they stated that he was completely exonerated. That was a brazen lie. His manager had to resign and Higgins got a ban. Stephen Lee deserved his ban. But that guy was scrapping a living from the game. Higgins was a millionaire and ranked number one. Of course a lengthy ban would have derailed Hearns dream.

I was 154 kg in 2008 so i know exactly how people watch people like i was and like Stephen Lee is. Everyone can say what they want or do what they want, snooker heads can try to make all videos of Stephen Lee deleted but they will never delete his history in the game, his talent and what he brought to snooker. A lot of actual professional players are there because they see him perform, same as John or Ronnie but we never talked about, for example, the last round of German Masters in 2013 between Ronnie and thai ace, Un-Nooh. It's just an example of very controversial match involving the best player of all time but... everyone forgot, except whom concerned by integrity.

Can't find a video on Higgins without also finding a litany of hateful comments. It's as tiring as it is disgusting. What are these people made of? Who are they to endlessly question an investigation by police officers? Do they have evidence that seasoned professionals have not found? And the same old comparison with Stephen Lee, who was found guilty of a dozen counts. May the hatred of these people stifle them!

He very clearly grinned and laughed excitedly about taking a large sum of money to throw a game so he could buy a villa, and has a litany of very dodgy looking missed balls prior to him being uncovered as a scheming cheat and a disgrace to the sport. He should have been permanently deleted from snooker. The truth is that his earning potential for the sport is the sole reason he's still playing. You know it and I know it. It's not about hatred. It's about grave disappointment at the disgracing of what was once an honorable sport by a proudly grinning thief.

A disgrace to snooker. The fact he is such an amazing player and made millions From snooker makes his actions even worse. And before people say he was found not guilty. Well you don't get a ban when you are exonerated and his manager had to resign from the wpbsa. And he's never explained why he was in the Ukraine. The only reason he didn't suffer the same fate as Stephen Lee was he was number one on the rankings at the time and Barry Hearn needed this to go away.
