Thousand Foot Krutch you were the favorite band of my fiance. He always used to send me songs from you guys. "Set me on fire" was his favorite and he was always sharing it. He died 5 months ago..... I love how this song describe my feelings. I don't tend to listen to Christian bands because sometimes they are too "pushy" but TFK makes easier for me to return to God. Their lyrics make me think of what I've been doing away all this time. And also, it could be a beautiful love song.

Losing someone is hard, I know from experience, I've lost many people, whether if they died or just left me either way I've lost people as well. Right now while I'm texting this I'm only 16, yet I know loss is apart of life, and that you can rarely be yourself around people, that nowadays you have to put up a thick wall to keep from getting hurt. I've chosen to keep walls up all around me for so long that I'm used to not opening up to people, I used to be a good boy, now I'm not so sure. Nowadays I feel like I'm somewhere in between, like I'm an anti hero and a broken man. Some of the hardest things in life are loss of loved ones, sometimes what hurts the most are the things that could never be, I should know. Falling in love is a hard thing when it's someone you know you can never be with. Nowadays I'm a lonely man, with no Rayla to hold me, or any other girl, life can be a painful thing, I learned that years ago and it's a shame that I had to learn it at such a young age.
