  • I probably watched this interview back in 84. And here we are in 2021 and has music and society ever changed for the worst.

    • "Old nostalgic time better than new time" a phrase as old as time. There were plenty of people in the 80s that thought this was just white noise compared to the "good music of the 50s"

  • I loved them as a kid clearly but.... after watching their Documentary, these guys were just disrespected by the whole American music industry. They deserve all their success. I can't believe Dee and Jay Jay never drank, smoked or did drugs!!! 😲😲

    • Dee never drank, smoked or did drugs. Jay Jay was a full blown drug addict in the late '60s & early '70s and was part of the NYC hippie drug culture. He quit drugs just three months shy of his 20th birthday in 1972 and has been clean ever since.

    • C, well Dee did did drink alcohol, but only on special occasion like when he go out with his wife or something. In a clip, he went out for dinner with his wife and he had a full glass of wine in his hand.

  • 500, 000 copies sold was considered double platinum in Canada? That number is only gold status in the US. I guess the certifications depend on population density or something.
