  • Really like your build it's a nice set up.

  • Your rigs are sick. The mods are endless. I have a 2010 f150 fx4. I found a 2012 polomino bronco 800 for $6500. We love it. We basically are campers and road trippers. We can't send it at high speeds off road by any means but coming from a jeep and first gen hilux offroading and rock crawler background we can get through obstacles that most won't do with more capable rigs. It's been a game changer having a bed kitchen fridge and warm small home all on the back of the truck. Wish we could me others for group adventures like your selves.

  • Love that build out and the fact you can customize it exactly how you need. I'm considering selling my front dinette hawk slide-in to build out a Project M. Having that wide open rear hatch and tailgate is super functional. Sometimes with the Hawks you can feel entirely enclosed so it would be nice to open it up like you showed in that couch mode. Awesome build man!

    • Sometimes I feel like I want to upgrade to a slide in, but then I think about the tailgate and I’m cool with the PM. Thanks for watching!

  • Great comparison between the 3! You guys all nailed it when you said they're way better than a RTT! I have the Topo Toppers Badlander and my buddy has the Vagabond Drifter. Another friend is waiting for his Oru. I dig your interior build out.

    • @@mikelabree He likes it so far. He has a 2nd gen king cab Frontier. There wasn't too many options for the 6' bed Frontier when he ordered it. The build quality and fit and finish isn't as good as a Topo or Vagabond, but it isn't too bad. Lot's of value to be had in the Oru.

  • I am looking at your buildout in the OVR magazine. How did you buildout your quick shower disconnect product? How many gallons of water does it hold?

  • impressive I was looking at all three of these!!! REally like the Ovrnld Camper, but concerned about longevity. Probably going to go for the GFC.

    @HN-oq3gf@HN-oq3gf11 ай бұрын
    • I'm curious as to why you are worried about the longevity of the OVRLND? There have been a tons of issues with GFC over the years, They even have dedicated teams to drive around the country to take care of issues (Good on them for taking care of the issues) I have never heard of anyone having problem's with the OVRLND's.

  • My wife and I both have Ram diesel pickups. Her 2500 has a 2200# payload. While my 1500 has only an 1100# payload. I bought a FWC Hawk model for my wife's truck. My truck currently has a Snugtop camper shell. I am considering the OVRLND camper to give me the ability to carry larger objects and sometimes do some overlanding. While still staying within my weight limits.

  • Thanks for the reviews. Quick question for you. How is the dust? I’ve read a few reviews of the project M where people say there is a lot of dust that gets in. Would love to hear your perspective on that. Thanks again for the video!!

    @jplimages@jplimages5 ай бұрын
    • With any topper camper with tailgate combo you will have dust get in. It mostly comes in because the tailgate isn’t sealed. I haven’t done anything to minimize the dust because it hasn’t been too much of an issue. I have a blower and just blow all the dust out when I get to camp.

  • Thank you! I’m looking at the GFC because of cost and it’s pretty good quality too for the cost….. I’d really like to get the Alu-Cab but that’s a pretty good jump up in cost. I do like the Project -M too….. I have a 2022 Power Wagon and a Polaris do 1000 turbo, just need the topper/camper now. Any suggestions for alternative choices for campers? Thank you 😊

      @sun_dreaming@sun_dreaming11 ай бұрын
    • @@sun_dreaming hi current trailer is about 1000Lb and sxs is close to 1500lb so 2500lb…. Plus an extra 2-5 gallon Jerry cans, a 2.0 g rottopax, 65 quart fridge/cooler, lots of tools and of course gear. No issues pulling. Next is shell/topper…

  • Concerning the FWC and the Ovrlnd Campr, I'd like to know how they mitigate dust and water intrusion.

    @rangerdanger88@rangerdanger8811 ай бұрын
    • I have a little bit of dust intrusion at the tailgate. I haven’t done anything to try to seal it up. My family and I Bring more dirt getting in and out that the dust that comes in while driving doesn’t seem so bad. I do carry a Milwaukee blower and that helps a lot.

      @sponsoredbywifey@sponsoredbywifey11 ай бұрын
    • No problem with water intrusion on my OVRLND camper. Dust is greatly reduced by positive pressure valve.
