Part 6: • Michael Jai White: On ...
--------
Michael Jai White revisited his pre-match thoughts on the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou fight. Against his prediction, Ngannou showed an astonishing performance, making him proclaim he's "never been so happy to be wrong." Vlad and Michael Jai White compared Ngannou's feat with unlikely real-life sports scenarios, like defeating Tiger Woods at first play or surpassing LeBron James in a debut NBA game, emphasizing the implausibility of Ngannou's achievement. Ngannou's training with long-time friend Dewey Cooper, a seasoned kickboxer, was highlighted, crediting him for the elements of Ngannou's game that took everyone by surprise. They also praised the narrative arc of Ngannou's career, from being dismissed by UFC to becoming a top contender with attractive returns.

  • This sentence is true in all aspects with Francis " I never seen anyone progress that fast": 1. In MMA 2. In English, Francis less than 2 years ago interviews and today are way shocking, the level of progress is crazy 3. In Boxing (MJW said it) Francis IQ is not only exceptional in sport, his ability to learn, adapt and master is at another level. Even in business he outplayed Dana White and all MMA promoters...

    • The ENTIRE Fury clan stated that Tyson trained for the Ngannou fight like NO OTHER! -- Why? Because he had no footage to study on Ngannou, and thus then, had to train for everything possible! -- which apparently wasn't enough🤣 And of course, Fury knew that he would never live down the embarrassment & ridicule of getting clocked by an MMA fighter, who had never had a pro-boxing match in his life!😅🤣😂

    • Fury admitted that Francis gave him problems, and was the toughest fight he'd had in a long time. Fury did train. And he didn't take Francis lightly. Reason he lost against Francis (and he did lose), is because Fury couldn't use his weight to bully Francis by leaning on him the way he does to all his other opponents. That's what tired Deonte out against him. Fury kept leaning on Deonte, and that weakened Deonte's legs.

    • @@mikep11218 I ain’t gon lie tho… I love Wilder but bruh is true to his last name. You see, Fury is an actual freak akin to lebron james he definitely uses his size as you stated but he fights small and unpredictable, it makes him very dangerous because he’s calculated and doesn’t strictly depend on size.. If fury didn’t do that, I still see Fury beating Wilder simply due to the fact Wilder swings wild. He barrages POWERFUL punches that lose effect immediately when it’s placed randomly on someone’s body. I don’t think you’re wrong at all, I just think Wilder is an old dog who can’t be taught new tricks as it’s made him one of the best today, but if he had precision and punched with intention besides simply doing damage… brother.

Fury’s most used tools were literally taken from him, nothing much he could do but jab and attack from the outside. This aint Wilder, Francis could bully Fury by sheer physicality

He doesn't even look like one, he's covered in flab head to toe. Fury had close fights with Wilder even though he weighed about 50lbs heavier than him. This is why he avoids AJ like the plague, he knows that AJ is far stronger and bigger than him and will not allow him to lean on him, and clinch him until he gasses out. • @@mammaman8400 DC is a Martial Artist with all due respect. He been training Francis for his whole MMA career. Link where Francis said Tyson only showing up once in a while 😂 and I'll link you him saying Tyson is his trainer for this fight, he was Francis corner 😂 he literally was at every press conference, training Francis showing him BOXING TECHNIQUES. The knock on Francis was he was sloppy, just winging punches (ya know how he was fighting with DC as his trainer) Tyson cleaned up his technique (as much as he could in that amount of time) and it showed in the fight because he looked totally different. Way more tight and compact shorter punches good HEAD-MOVMENT all things that we watched Tyson train him on. It's tons of their training sessions online. To say that Tyson was only there once in a while when he volunteered to be his trainer for the fight, was there with him through the whole process to the point that Furys dad got butt hurt because he named his son after him and now he's on stage training his sons competition to beat him. You don't know what you're talking about if for one you think Dewey trained him to fight the #1 p4p heavyweight BOXER (NOT KICK BOXER) in the world only for him to drop him and win the fight in most peoples eyes. You think the man who has been training him to throw them sloppy hooks in MMA (Dewey) all of a sudden in one training camp where IRON MIKE TYSON was his said coach and Cornerman, and Ngannou looked better than he ever had, like a whole new fighter, but nah it wasn't the one thing that was different (Mike Tyson) but the same dude who trained him his whole career that had him looking like a big strong zero technique but tons of power winging looping punches to in one fight cleaned him up (from what you were teaching him in the first place) and got him to throw straight punches 😂😂 bruh stop. Mike was his trainer, it was him with him, talking for him, not Dewey. Even though he deserves credit for getting to the spot to train with Tyson and fight furry. But he gets zero credit for this fight. We saw the difference a real champion boxer brought to his bag

  • Let's take this logically. MJW, whom I respect, only gave his OPINION, not fact. Similar to how he said he would beat Bruce Lee because of his size. He was wrong then too. Punchers always have a puncher's chance. Ngannou has been fighting so he's relatively comfortable in the ring. He was also trained by Tyson. This just proves what I've been saying for years. MMA generally don't have good hands. Boxers have the best hands and the best training in combat sports. What it requires to be a good boxer takes it to an entirely different level. What you typically see in UFC isn't on the same level above the waist. To make a couple of corrections. UFC tried to lowball Ngannou, but did eventually relent, but he rightly left anyway. Lastly, Tyson Fury's title was not on the line for this fight.

    @billgates334@billgates3345 ай бұрын
    • How can you say he was wrong about the Bruce Lee scenario? It will never happen so you can never say that MJW couldn't beat him. Looking at it logically, MJW would be the overwhelming favorite in that match up. The only people that disagree with this are those that are living in a fantasy land where size has no relevance.
