It is hard to elect a perfect leader but there's a less evil one who will do more good than evil to us, God help us if we get it wrong again, American will always say "God bless America " Brazilians are passionate about their country so is Ghana and others but Nigeria even with all the blessing that other countries will be jealous of we are not proud of this country because of bad leaders, the Prince of Dubai said they're not richer than Nigeria but they're better because they have visionary leaders who use the God giving wealth of their country to make her better and turned their country into one of the most visited and attractive place to visit.

I guess you don't know how lagos looks before 1999, IGR of 600M, today is 52B, where are the Molues, the school buildings that looks like the poultry house, how was Ikorodu, Epe, Alagbado, badagry axis looking then, we had operation sweep but we were doing vigilante even if lagos was federal capital, it's take a good manager to still make lagos relevant, if you give a good organisation to a bad manager, he will run it down but lagos has been on the progressive even though there is more to do.

You can't compare that to Lagos that was capital of Nigeria from 1914 to 1991. That's a whooping 77 years before the likes of Jakande became governor. Nobody can claim to have built Lagos. Lagos has enjoyed what no state has ever enjoyed in terms of FG investments, geographical advantage and commercial activities. No man should take the glory of those collective years of growth in Lagos.

He should think about investing properly in the federal assets or go into PPP while making sure of proper maintenance and overhaul of the corrupt system

Diversifying means he should focus on other areas to get whatever money he needs, must it be the same oil the past governments depended on and still steal billions daily? I'm not saying he shouldn't refurbish the refinery but should do the same to other dead sectors. He should be talking about exploration, like the lithium found in the north as well as agriculture and labour to improve productivity then he'll get even more than the 10billion he's so bent to get from oil... I'm sure he'll probably hold on to the minister of petroleum like Buhari so he has control and I'm sure you're his fan

I hear people saying lagos was built by federal government all the time and I'm curious why d same federal run away from lagos
I heard it was security reasons since it's it would be closer to the ports invade of an invasion. But imagine Lagos with the Fed, the traffic would be superb than it already is. Lagos is a planned state like Abuja. Also, I think govt prefer to stay where population density isn't dense because of an overthrow during a protest. I watched somewhere that Egypt govt is doing the same by moving out of the current capital, Cairo, where a larger percentage of the country reside. Anyway, I think there's truth in the statement that the Fed built Lagos but I think the presence of the port also sustains in terms of keeping and attracting economic activities to the state.
