Watching this in 2024. Who is with me?
i mount what did you take away from this ?
YEAH!!!
Wao! Sanusi Lamido was dethroned for pointing out misplaced priorities in Government.
I still cannot believe it...
Have you heard the Queen of England criticise the British Government openly ....or any monarch around the either ....on that note Ganduje has a point .
@@stridenetworks4715 You are comparing Queen and uk government to Nigeria rulers. You have no idea how things work in UK. In Uk, everyone has respect for the rule of law. Regardless of your position. Nigeria is a lawless society.
No, Sanusi is a talkative. Not everything you actually opinion over. Why critics on newspaper when you can call them directly
Yup, but he was wrong.
This man is smarter than I initially thought. No wonder he is dealing with Kwankwaso, Shekerau, Sanusi, et al. 🤣🤣🤣
Hmmm,Ganduje is brilliant and prominent figure in politics,no governor in Nigeria can accept such nonsense from Sanusi
These is one of them that destroyed Nigeria to zero points
Absolutely zero point
The only man that could come out publicly and talk about the problem of the Government and the problem of the Northern... despite their dominance in governance. Sanusi did a great Job
100% . An eminently ignorant autocrat .
How many southern traditional leaders speak radically to power as the former Emir? Please name one. A traditional leader should be an elder statement who watches his tongue. If he has any suggestions or advice, he can seek audience with the Governor and say his mind. This is the modus operandi all other traditional rulers follow
So are u better off now that he has been removed? Is the north in peace? Keep following these charlatans you call leaders to your doom!
@@vok7584.... You just kept blabbing! I asked a question. Tell us one southern Oba or Obi that acted or is acting like the former emir? Are you literate?
@@bashirwaziri9741 Tell us one southern governor that behaves like Ganduje Dollar; the open criminal? So why won't Sanusi speak that way?
As your Ghanaian brother, I now understand why you bash your politicians the way you do. Ours are not any better but the nerve of this man to defend the indefensible is what surprised me. He did it with no shame at all
Thank you for your understanding
What he was saying in summary is "You cannot be bigger than the system that made you". I appreciate his frankness and SLS himself is certainly no saint. Shikena!
Sanusi is a hypocrite. It's only in Nigeria that an incompetent man like him can be celebrated bc in Nigeria, little is good enough for the people. During Jonathan’s government, as the CBN governor, he said NNPC failed to remit money and when asked how much was missing, he gave 3 different figures at different times. How incompetent? He actually destroyed himself with that self-serving propaganda! No one trusts him in Nigeria any more.
exactly, Sanusi was educated, raised and made relevant by the system he was criticizing. That is why all the elders agreed it was time for his exit
Sanusi was destroying a bad system.
A bad system he benefited immensely from? You can't eat your cake and still have it
So we all have to support the evil till it goes round@@olugbengakayode2516
@@olugbengakayode2516and from your comment I am sure you didn't listen to what was said in the interview
In other words.. There's freedom of speech but freedom after speech is a taboo. This man just portrayed himself as one of the enemy of the country progress on national TV... how did we got here?
🤣🤣😜
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It was Idi Amin of Uganda that said that. "In Uganda we can guarantee you freedom of speech but what we can't guarantee you is freedom after speech! He was right and it applies to the whole of Africa!
Absolutely
In summary, u can't be eating government money and be speaking against that same government. Food for thought🤔
Abi oo.. If person wan rebuild this country, those top powerful people will pull the person down. Too bad
He sanusi also enjoyed corrupt monies allocated to his office as maintenance, why didn't he see wrong in it?
In other words, if you benefit from the federal government you shouldn't say a thing about them
I doubt this, because if He did eat as you all claim, it would have been the first thing they would use against him, He can talk because He has no dirt on him, His problem I think is not necessary eating money, It's setting up an economy/society where the les priviledged can also be comfortable... it's sad that Kano has water problem
It's a very big lie, man is eating the money he's working for, is he not supposed to be paid for his work? You mean he should support the evil the government is doing just because he's working together with the government
Who elect this clueless man. Sanusi want change but this fools want things to remain the same. God bless Sanusi
Sanusi is a hypocrite. May God punish him
Their 'caliphatic' and 'emiratic' destiny is at stake for more preponderance of power, steered by colonial-driven rulership of innocent 200million people contrapted in a mirage entity called "Nigeria"
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 Sanusi wanted change under the boss that employed him. Why didn't he go and contest and win election as governor of Kano state and do his change as he liked? Your point of view is flawed and lack sense .
Sanusi got wat he deserved. A critic with a bias is no critic. He has a high level of nepotism which isn't very encouraging 4 a man who claims 2 be a Saint
@@victorfolami8623 I love and share your comment
Do you know what I took from this? If you were built by a system that you were part of, a system that you have benefited from, you inherit both the pros and cons. If you want to critique that same system, the first thing is to get out of it. You can't be benefitting from a system and still want to criticize it. Step out of the system first, then you retain your liberty to say whatever you think to be true. Osinbajo made the same mistake. If you want to change a system, then build your own system; systems pitch against systems, but a system that is divided against itself cannot stand.... Sanusi was retained as Governor of CBN under Jonathan by the same system, he was installed as Emir (benefit) by the same system, yet he kept attacking the same system. The wise thing to do would be to step out of the system, build his own system, then pitch his supposedly good system against the corrupt system. That's not devilish, that's pure sense. You can't be eating from the devil and say the devil is bad.
As a friend of mine will always remind me. "You can't be sleeping in Delilah's bed and be dreaming of Abraham's promise ".
The system as I see it Nigerian democratic system, trying to bend it to match your stake, and polarise the rest of society as incompetent puts you on the spot for surveillance on due diligence, and credit worthiness. It makes sense to assume that this modern generation of Nigerians are really positive about change post covid19. I wouldn't call it eating from the devil's coffer, a system tax payers contributes deductions equivalent to England's standards, and not benefit the citizens. There's transparency and codified law to display all earning activities forwarded to the government by taxation online. I believe in one system of equal rights, and justice to all Nigerians, making a difference in fulfilling the responsibilities on individual merits, by trades and sponsorship. Ie vblog as taken a turn in changing lives in outreach communities without street lights, that could cover 5 Kilometres, costing under $1000,00 but everything Nigerians do by themselves they give the credit to the government not step out of the system to claim victory, of liberty. Your points are highly regarded in view of those that defraud the country, and make themselves known when they commence their criticism against any government in office. Lots of people already use platforms to disrespect out leaders over accusations of illegality. Life is extremely dangerous on the ground with social hazards being top of agenda in making redress of personal responsibility in making life conducive for all. Typical example of national issues begins with energy, and water provisions for the masses. Allocation of infrastructural development funds for the citizens. Additionally, people group as Entrepreneurs when they travel out of the system, when re-engage with investment opportunities and partnerships from places like China, Mexico, Dubai etc. Now, on returning they are welcome as new citizens, other than being accused of corruption if they had stayed in the country to acquire wealth. You can't plot to blackmail the system at the expense of the citizens, if they didn't approve of your corrupt practices of lawlessness, and greed, claiming impunity above the law. It's very easy to be a successful the right way by mutual respect, and knowledge. Nigerian is known for hard working people, but the tide is changing because of sudden change of opportunity weather, some community that have been forgotten since independence are rekindled by those that cares for change, and are Godly in the quest to make changes. God is living in the hearts of people to make right changes, the states adopting rapid improvement to support the needy, and improve living standards are grateful. Communications are a huge problems in Nigeria. We have heard stories when a delivery man of iPhone 8 was killed and buried for robbery. The lack of opportunities, create such terrible crimes terrorising society, and should be stopped. If there was an iPhone factory in Nigeria, those issues would be outside the system. Thanks for sharing your views. Godbless you.
Shame on you!!! Sanusi was too smart and you felt intimidated. He was right, you were building yourselves and your family instead of Kano state. The people are hungry and suffering and you are living an unbelievable luxury life with your family and friends. You will pay for it eventually. Sanusi is one of best Nigerian citizens!!!!!
Are you from Kano?
Very true. I respect you for this comment
Sorry but Sanusi has no integrity. He is a hypocrite with ugly self-serving attitude
if you are not from Kano, stop talking nonsense

This man is a clear and unequivocal reason why Nigeria will never progress as a nation. These are what we call leaders in that country. Split up that country, let each zone go their own way.
Just imagine how dull and insensitive he speaks. So he dethroned Sanusi just cos he's a social critic. These people are enemies of democracy

This governor openly admits he dethroned Emir Sanusi because he had the courage to critic government actions and called for better accountability. Nigeria is finished.
Sanusi is a very honourable man. A lot attributed to him seem to be out of place relative to his character. I am not Nigerian, and I can see how good a person he seems to be. A great man.
Seun doesn't have the balls to challenge him if what sanusi is saying is the truth or not
You want make dem kidnap Seun dash am to Fulani herdsmen?

What else did you want SEUN to do? Insult him or abuse him?
There was no need for Seun to have such challenge. The man himself did not doubt the validity of Sanusi's critics He only said Sanusi handled those critics inappropriately. He cited several examples where he stated Sanusi could have made his point to the authority concerned in more discreet manner, but that he seems to love running to the press. Public outcry is not befitting of royalty all over the world. Personally, I had been in a conference before, where Sanusi was the keynote speaker, I admit that he is extremely out of self control with his tongue. In that situation, the discussion wasn't even political.....your guess is as good as mine...
I'm ashamed, who made a big fool a governor.

Why didn't he challenge the system in court before he was made the Emir? Why didn't he reject the offer to be the Emir. You arw all celebrating Sanusi, a man who was part of those that killed many people when Abacha was head of state, he was suppose to be executed by Abacha but was pardoned when his father intervened..he was then asked to leave the country to further his education, that was how he left Nigeria to sudden, then did his first degree in Islamic Law in Sidan.

I admire Sanusi and his leadership. But if he wanted to rule, he should have gone through a democratically elected political system rather than an entitlement monarchy system. The institutional monarch system is archaic anyway and every leadership position should be an elected position. The monarchy system in time will be replaced by elected leaders once the public is educated and aware enough of their civil obligation and rights to lead.
What then would you say about The Benin Kingdom? No governor can try this. This was a system of government that worked for us before the colonial masters came here and gave us a failed democracy

Ok 0@
You trying to show your loyalty to strict and uncivilized sharia law that been indirectly pronounced on former Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido
Am not a Fulani or friend with Emir Sanusi. But make no mistake.A king is a king, whether on the throne or not. In Africa, we still value and respect our leaders, no matter what dirty politicians do.
A TRUE POLITICIAN. UNDERSTANDING ASSETS AND LIABILITIES OF YOUR OFFICE/ NOT COMPLICATED
Of course yes malam gaduje! 😂 The emir aminu has covered his mouth with (amawali) and added the length and frequency of his two antennas 🐰 what a holy dung!!!!! But what of the billions of dollars missing in BABARIGA????
Sanusi haven't done anything wrong, Ganduje make a claimed that he faulted yar'adua 7 point agenda and also fault GEJ, that's how a good statesman should do for the facts that he serve under them doesn't mean he shouldn't say the truth, I advice Ganduje to withdraw his statement and publicly apologise to Sanusi
Don't wear the shoe if you are not ready to play ball. Sanusi people have forgotten was a disappointment accepting to be Emir and reduce himself when we needed a Nation Player he chose to be a local kano player and wanting to still be national. He should have thought well. He got what he deserved. He wanted it all when he could clearly get only one.
Sir Sanusi is a great man, he deserves honor 🎖 not humiliation. He spoke well 👏 for the poor.
Precisely ...
Interesting, Ganduje seems to know his onnions, i learnt a lot about the tongue defense system.
Emirates are the mark of fulani authority. These have totally destroyed our hausa brothers
All these leaders are wicked type , they dont want anyone to challenge them at all, how do they want to change from their habit , if all These people not die i dont think we can have a better nigeria, we need fresh ideas to implement ,i dont see anything wrong in challenging government , so we can correct our mistakes
This is no matter for me I'm a Yoruba Man and I prayed that Yoruba will have a nation when the authorities will return back to all our obas,. . hopefully the only icon of YORUBA LAND will be back home with his full health , God blesses SUNDAY ADEYEMO .
YOU DONT HAVE SENSE, TIME FOR KINGS HAVE GONE
Nepotism of the highest order....may we think beyond ethnicity
@@tonyebiere551Time has not gone beyond OBAs .. even United Kingdom still follow rules and laws of their Queen/Kings
@@seaupdate2861 there is only 1 king in England, the commander in chief of the Armed Forces. There are over 300 kings in Nigeria, if we think with our brains, how can over 300 kings fit in with a political dispensation?
What an interview... God in his mercy hmmm... God really merciful
This man is insane!
Cant believe a sitting governor can come on 'national television' and say admit to tyranny. Nigeria we hail 😩
@@mas-udal-hassan9277 @Mas-ud Al-hassan Reform! I am not a fan of monarchies either. But they are still in existence today all around the world. Some of the strongest democracies exist alongside monarchies so they must still serve some sort of purpose. It takes visionary and 'educated' leaders to reform these institutions. Whether SLS went to chop money or not I won't debate. He is an oligarch, yes but his track record is there for everyone to scrutinise. I will pick an SLS as king any day any time over Ganduje.
Imagine the kind of country we found ourselves, despite the provision of the constitution which give a citizens of Nigeria freedom of speech expression and also freedom of fair hearing but still nothing this government do about dethroned of sanusi lamido just for telling the truth ,from what I heard in ganduje’s speech in this video is that Nigerian citizens hav no freedom of expression anymore and government shouldn’t be criticize even when indulge in committing wrong deeds and mischievous 😏😏
Exactly
Unbelievable, I can not believe Ganduje just admitted to not wanting to be criticized. The previous Emir spoke against injustice. This is being considered a destruction of the system. The system needed to be exposed.
Your right ✅
First time I see Seun just keep listen and very serious
Dude was shocked 😅
Where did you read asset and liability in economic principles ?
I swear. Kai. Nah wao
Lol
He is a PhD. Don't underestimate his knowledge Mr I know all.
Am behind you Ganduje on this decision to dethroned him wlh
My eyes have just seen my ears and with the looks at Seun´s face, you will all agree with me he was in shock throughout, so a traditional ruler was displaced because he pointed to the political class what they should´ve done differently.
WOW!!!!!!!! SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!! After listening to this he was better off staying silent....
One of the regrettable failures of Nigeria. I can't believe this is a state man or governor.
Sound speach. I have never had such sound presentation that is convincing from our norther leaders until I listen this. The rational and basis presented here is acceptable.
Diz is so shameful ... May Allah keep guide and protect Royal majesty emir sanusi
This didn't rest well with this interviewer... i just read that emotion on the face
This tyrant just admitted to removing Sanusi because of his own personal ego
Sanusi , was very brilliant . But seems to forget his limits as an appointed emir !Others should better learn from the fall of Sanusi !
Great interview, Shaun! This exposes why nija is like this. Never knew Ganduje is articulate but petty.
