  • In the drill at 18:00, I would suggest using the cones as ball placement, orienteering yourself to to come as if it were the ball instead of what you were doing which was just a general placement thing. That way you’re orienteering your mind to setting up your feet and body to an actual shot.

  • What’s also really helpful with the side view is the white line in the wall. It shows that no matter what type of ball you feed Karue is hitting at the same height. Resulting in far more consistency and cleaner shots.

  • I agree with your comment regarding the boxing and being able to hit the ball harder when it’s close to you. This is the feeling I have as weel. But then you have guys like Roger, Carlitos and Delpo who seem to be hitting much further from their bodies but still with tremendous power.

  • Great mix of hitting and footwork - love it - going to try this at home 😮 (might have to split between workouts though - not as young or as fit as Karue 😊) looking good Karue!

  • Last week i made a Forehand Winner with tremeanous Speed. It popped and i wondered because i didnt felt so much Power but it was a good Clean hit and gave me a Point. Far away strong Forehanders with much rotation only if the ball is away und you save it with counterbalancing with your lefr foot. Our Coach teached us. You can hit massive on low speedballs. But in the Game you need to be a Master with open stance and hit the ball clean far away from the Body.

  • Is it strange that you hit on open stance each ball but it should be closed stance right??

    • Maybe a bit of preference there.

    • at higher levels u have less time so open stance is preferred by the majority

    • also depends a bit on the dominant eye, karue is probably right eye dominant so it‘s convinient so hit the forehand open stance and the backhand close stance
