    • @@dogedoge4840 The count isn't as strict as some fans seem to believe it is. If it was, they'd use the timekeeper at ringside, and they would always count even if the fighter was out cold rather than waving it off. The count is just there to give the ref time to see if a fighter can continue to defend himself, it's not some kind of time trap. Here is what the ref said about the long count - "At the count of eight, Douglas started to get up and I saw that he knew what was going on. He lifted his head, hit the canvas in a sign of disgust, which told me he was ready to continue the fight, the time was up and possibly Tyson would have won, but Douglas demonstrated that he was well-prepared in the next round. Douglas was well-prepared physically. His punches were always good and he stood up to everything Tyson threw.”

I went through a bunch of these videos, and despite their slight corniness they gave me real motivation to find my purpose in life. I'll be starting medical school in the US in august this year. If not - you will surely be knocked out like the Mike Tyson (the villain) of this video. .... No, this is NOT the best motivational of all time. It is not even a good motivational. It is false, in the worst kind of way - it takes something so good and powerful, and turns it upside down while strongly (emotionally) telling you it is the absolute truth.

I gave him all my trophies to show how his encouragement helped me perform brilliantly. As soon as Dad died I felt like I lost power and lost ability. I found this video and found my why and my resilinancy. My why helped me win two league titles and my why helped me win the home internationals with wales and helped me compete in the British national championships. I lived for Dad and I hope he’s proud of me and I’m making him proud every day

  • 2 years ago I was sleeping on the floor in someone’s living room with my 1 year old baby boy, I lost everything and found my self depressed. I felt like my life was over.. Until I realized the responsibility I had in my hands and I saw the bigger picture. I promised my son I would do right by him and we would never be in that position again. I worked and worked until I figured it out. Listening to this video still brings tears from remembering how hard the journey was trying to make it out of that hole I was in. Don’t give up, life is tough but you have to be strong.

    • In my opinion even more amazing how he managed to train through it leading up to the fight. It's one thing if you're done training and your body is ready for the fight, then his mother died. But his mother died a month before and I can't imagine even waking up and getting out of bed let alone training to actually win the fight against Mike Tyson with the odds stacked against you like that after your own mother died. You have to watch and understand how boxing works to really appreciate what the man accomplished. Most of the time when a fighter who has a number of losses like Douglas did is pitted against Mike Tyson, they're only doing it for the paycheck. They'll train enough to convince the masses they're taking it seriously but they're not expecting to win. Michael Spinks didn't even believe in himself and he was undefeated and some even thought he'd win, the guy didn't even last one round. Douglas was out to make history and the man did, unbelievable.

  • Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

I don't know if it's the editing, the story, the message, or all the above, but something pulls the heart strings enough to get me off my feet and moving forward. I'm still searching for my why, but this video gets me motivated to keep standing strong until I find it. Hell, maybe in a roundabout way searching for my why *_is_* my why

Ahh its the fact that you care and all the emotion whether crying or anger is behind the fact that you care enough to hurt which is what puts you ahead of anyone else and don't let yourself be placed in any common category when you arent like others. Love everybody!

I was doing a lot of exercise each day, I thought I was pushing myself as hard as I could but a man came up to me and said ''I want to see you succeed'' so he started helping me and truly I had been doing it all wrong. Just a bit of knowledge goes a long way! Just a little tip I got was after exercising in the morning eat only fruit for an hour cleanse your body of most of the toxins or put flashcards around your house of motivational quotes to drive you deeper.

  • Heart of a lion!!! Your trials and tribulations make you stronger and build your character. Whatever you youngins especially r goin through you can give up...Or you can rise from the ashes of adversity like the phoenix from the ashes and make anew. Never never ever give up. I believe in you!! You have the power, it's been on the inside of you all along. All you have to do is search your heart and believe in yourself. Extreme drive, hard work and confidence!! Pain is temporary but if you give up then you sell yourself short. Prove to the world who you are through your own gifts and talents and spread your love to the world.
