pimk thats the thing this is a video. Ronaldo playmaking ability pales in comparison to messi. These clips of ronaldo playmaking are games that are far apart he does this kind of thing once every 10 or so games not continuously every game like messi does. Neither of them are complete players ronaldo is a complete goalscorer because he is good at scoring in any way possible but meesi is a complete forward excellent at scoring in anyway possible and playmaking. Players like midfielders are complete players such as arturo vidal who can score playmake defend and help control the tempo of a game

My point is he can playmake but *chose* not to, not that he can't . And I don't get the point of bringing up Messi. Everyone knows Messi is the best playmaker now, so Ronaldo not being better than him in play making doesn't mean that can't at all. Being complete is not about being the best at Everything but being good at everything, which I'll say Ronaldo was for the majority of his career. pimk I watched almost every single match of ronaldo trust me Yes he was better few years ago but still he wasn't perfect or complete, everyone has weaknesses. his abilities were better then but he was a bit sloppy too and not the smartest player. And his dribbles, yes he was dribbling more but it wasn't effective like messi for example, He was more entertaining back than. I think the ronaldo since the season 14-15 he is not the same player like he used to but he is more experienced and smart There are many players which can do everything, but they are not the best at everything.

CR has played 21 more games in the UCL... He also each season has averaged a lot more shots. Last season he scored one more goal, yet Messi had 38 shots to Ronaldo's 73 shots.

CR can't do everything Messi can. When has he scored a goal where he has beaten 4/5 players? Never happened. The most he beat was 2 a few times and 3 once, with a lucky deflection off a defender. When does he make eye of the needle passes like Messi does so often, where his passes split the defence? When does he do the things Messi does on the ball game in game out? When has he given performances like Messi has in the biggest games, and by that I mean not games just judged on goals... That's why Messi is regarded as the better footballer. The only things CR has over Messi is more power in his shots, though Messi has scored more goals from outside the box in la liga since 12/13, a better weaker foot and aerial ability.

Messi scored 8 long shots this year and 4 free kicks compared to 2 long shots and 4 fee kicks from ronaldo and his goal ratio from distance and from free kicks is much higher. Ronaldo hits it harder no doubt about that. Ronaldo has scored few more free kicks than messi with 150+ more attempts so they are about even. What you dont consider about Messi is that he is one of the most prolific scorers ( shooters) of all time from 14-25 meters. You would not call that range long shot myb but i would.
