1970 Plymouth Superbird Tribute Racer: Muscle Car Of The Week Episode 211
There are vintage racers and bone stockers in The Brothers Collection, but today, we’re checking out a hybrid of both. This is a modified creation built to look - and perform - like a 1970 Plymouth Superbird “wing car”, but is a handmade version that started life as a 1970 Plymouth Satellite.

What a beautiful 70,s Plymouth Superbird Tribute. Remarkable!!!
This is my dream car
In the late 1970's My Dad and I went to look at Chrysler New Yorker and a Chrysler Plymouth Dealer. the Reason I remember it so was because he has 5 Superbirds in Plastic in the back of the garage. He Quoted a price of 2500 out the door tax and title included. My dad shy's away I nearly lost my mind that day I was 15 at the time.
This one's got a sweet sound system under the hood
Damn, this is something NASCAR would actually race. Honestly that makes it more valuable than a factory superbird in my eyes. These cars they couldn't give away in 1970 would've been snatched off showroom floors if they were sold like this.
Damn, I has always wondered where this car went, now I know. It’s a really great design and what I’m going to model my RR after. I wonder if you guys still have it?
Not real into Dodge, but that sound and huge number coming out of the 358cid. Amazing.
Awesome build real sharp.
Bill Goldberg had a 68 Plymouth GTX restored by Graveyard cars several years ago
If it was possible, most every other car should bow-down to this one anytime they see it. This was and is Bad-ass to the ultimate extreme!!
After Al Unser Sr' brother Morris broke his spine racing motorcycles he designed and built Swing Lifts for wheelchair vans. In Canada they were sold as the Golden Boy Lift and were completely trouble free
Now that’s just awesome, I know it may seem strange to say but I think it’s extremely subdued, all business! Love it!
That looks badass!!!
Bill always does em right!
i was racing this car in Gran Turismo 2 💪
wow
I love it.
thats s. sweet car for a tribute
Wot a freakin' monster!!!
Customs have their place, but I'd rather see some of those Corvettes you keep teasing me with in the background!
Damn! Sorry, don't know what else to say.
should have sprayed it all petty. not feeling that side-black at all
I thought MOPAR motors had the distributor in the front. I don't know much about Mopar so someone help me out
It has a NASCAR race engine that is not related to any current or former production engine. Back in the day Mopar big blocks had front distributors, small blocks had the distributor at the back.
NASCAR engines and arrangements are different from street factory models.
Very nice car. Probably cost a fortune to build it. Please fix the bent front spoiler.
Nice project, but it would have been better without the 2-tone. Everything else is right on.
