I always get punished for using the anti crime weed. It's way easier to get grabs with the flamethrower.
Flamethrower doesnt guarantee grab, for every time you fail with anti crime weed, that wouldve also been a guaranteed fail with flamethrower. The opposite isnt true.
@@AF0xyGrampa I like to stagger with forward 2,2 after flamethrower, to condition them to block or not try to jump. Everytime I use the smoke bomb, they always know I'm gonna try to grab after.
It doesnt matter if they know though, its literally inescapable, just gotta learn to press throw as soon as you see your feet shuffle
@@AF0xyGrampa I listened to the wisdom of the great Goxoraxasaxas and gave the anti-crime weed another chance and smoked a Jade player. I forgot that the weed smoke is also safe on block and the spikes can actually hurt Jade, when she's in purple mode.

I prefer either flamethrower for combo enders or OCP CHARGE when dealing with zoners
If I remember correctly I think b1 sniper is a true blockstring which is incredibly strong aswell because of the pushback on amplify

What are your thoughts on all the diff variations? I see a lot of variance here. Do you believe this variation is the best overall? Or are there MU where the flying OCP shield is better? Or flamethrower?
No matter if you think robo is good or not, theres one fact about this character that makes him a good pick even as a pocket character. If youre opponent doesn't have a way to counter your zoning like a teleport, a safe charge attack or at least a projectile that can trade, the matchup is very much in your favor. Im pretty sure matchups like robo/jax are 7-3, you basically force your opponent to only pick a character that can limit robo's zoning potential.

Foxy really wants to teach us how the game works and how to encounter almost every character, I always knew he spammed the robocop command grab so the other player use his mind to encounter it and make a move, but unfortunately almost 70% players do mashing. I know it’s mental frames you’re playing with, but I feel like you kinda underrated 2, 1, 2 because that’s a really good string to stagger and much better than f3, 2 imo because I usually get poked out of that
Maybe I just play against scrubs but I almost always get a back dash out of that stagger

Same i main robo now having people jumping on their mic and shit after every match is just godly
Against jade I find D4 to be really strong cause it takes her purple away
And cetrion I think if you zone correctly and bait the teleport you should be fine
I always have a hard time fighting cetrions and jades because of the purple glow but on the other hand I also play raiden so I mostly switch to him in such scenarios
