  • I was wondering when you were going to clear the windshield, so you can see where your going, disconnecting the fuel line to the tank is usually one of the 1st steps in getting a will it start car going. The Mortske points flick helped, the pontiac turned out to be a decent looking car. Good luck in finishing it up.

    • Yes, the quilt on the windshield was bothering me the whole time. It didn’t bother either one of them. It just goes to show you some people don’t see that is being disgusting but these guys do an excellent job of getting old cars running. They’re a great team.

    • I agree. My dad and I working together was like fire and water, not good. LOL. I like this car, a keeper at least worth taking it to it's limits and best it can be. I know, many want to change out the distributor but I ask why. Nothing wrong with points and condenser as was original and from what I can tell by just the video that distributor looks in very good shape. Just have to change them points and condenser each year or so. A good set of points and condenser run about $50 bucks these days. Used to be able to walk in any store back then and get a set for around $5-7 bucks. Change them out about anywhere, even without a feeler gauge and be able to get home. I used to keep a new set in the trunk just in case.

    • @@ckstaff You are lucky, at leas to get to work with your dad on something. My dad was so busy that he just comes home in time for dinner then goes to his room. I never asked him to help me with my homework or anything that is upsetting. Same with my mom. Eventhough that was the case, I love them both dearly and miss them so much. I was very young when they passed away.

Same 350, black over gold. We shared it till I graduated in 70. Then it was all mine. I dressed it up with Keystone mags. Thanks for the memories as Dad died in 1978. Great Guy!!!! Keep it goin' I love you guys!

  • This car is very dear to my heart ; when i was born my Dad had a 1972 Lemans Sport with a 400 c.i. in Anaconda Gold color and that is the best looking car he had in all the ones he had after that until his passing in 2009. If i ever win the lottery, THAT is the 1st thing on my wish list, to buy one and build an exact replica of my Dad's to enjoy for the rest of my life. In the meantime i'm the proud owner of my own classic Pontiac ; a 1968 Beaumont (Canadian Chevelle) that i've owned for 13 years and i'm at my 3rd one, all 1968 but all different engines. Love your channel and hope you guys will still be around for a long time !

  • Of all car restoration channels, I think, while the restoration was certainly impressive, what was more impressive were your manners and compassion towards the family. Many restoration channels like to snap up and hose down cars as a quick flip for views. You guys are amongst the good ones, what a great team and a great job. 👍🏼

  • Great follow-up to the first content! It's kind of a stretch to call it a "Muscle Car," but with a four barrel carburetor with CAI, new intake manifold, HEI, headers, & dual exhaust, it's close. Keep on keeping on with this Le Mans!

    @jimamundsen7029@jimamundsen70298 ай бұрын
    • Yes, a 326 will never be a muscle car engine., just a good running engine for daily driving.

      @robertlacob8831@robertlacob88318 ай бұрын
    • Why all that? It was never intended as a muscle car. Lemans-GTO, Malibu-Chevelle SS, etc. Restore it as close to what it was and it would be a cool car as is, a Lemans. If it were mine, I would even keep the distributor with the points and a new original exhaust system. No need for headers. Change carb to 4 barrel is fine but IMO keeping this car as close to original is best and a daily driver at that.
