Willemse's pass was touch and go. Whether it was forward or not it wouldnt have changed the outcome of the try. Was just a great run. Italy also beat the Ozzies and England drew to NZ. I would say they were both positive results from the perspective of showing our clueless coach that we can infact play some running rugby.
Well England were very bad to be fair, France, Ireland, Australia and NZ have all beaten you lot this year.

I remember, believe it was 2007 England were terrible, nobody expected them to progress further than the quarters but they did went all the way through to the final, and nearly beat the same team that bashes them in the group stages. England have some great talent and will be a threat . I say it as a South African
Absolutely true. I think this is also a bit of strategy to scope out RSA see the weak points and strong points. But England was not present in this game, I really can't tell what the plan was to win and they should work on their discipline. RSA did have their faults, but England had a bit more and they just couldn't come back from them. 😄 hope to see some great Rugby next year. Although I love RSA, I would love to see FRANCE or Ireland holding the cup. But 🤷🏻♀️ who knows.

@@samuelbarrett9403 As a die hard, proudly South African, Springbok supporter, I can't argue with you. Only been to two Premier League games (Anfield & Old Trafford) and they were incredible. Granted they weren't derby games or anything, so games like that may have some more savage animosity between some fans, which you don't really get anywhere in the world with rugby.

Because Eddie is focused on 2 play makers at 10 and 12 he plays a big 13 (Tuilagi). So he has to waste the talent at 13 on other positions (eg Daly at fullback).

Rugby fans are the best.....almost everybody is plowed (or half-plowed xD), it was an intense game with lots of tension, and everybody is respectful, articulate, and rather nice and polite. Breath of fresh air ! Something has to be said about the English fans.....whenever a kicker had to try and score a penalty, the stadium was silent.

I was in the top tier and was interesting/depressing how bad and unorganised we looked. There was one Nowell run the cheer but was the was game I’ve ever seen from England. Just looked slow and weak compared to SA. We used to pride ourselves on the scrum/line out/ maul but that’s gone. Forwards have nothing about them and the back looked lost. As soon as Smith kicked when we first had ball the crowd went dead. The team especially the pack needs a big refresh for six nations: 1. Genge 2. McGuigan 3. Stuart 4.Launchbury 5.Ribbans 6. Dombrandt 7. Jack Willis 8. Barbeary 9. Mitchell 10. Farrell 11.Hassell-Collins 12.Lawrence/Slade 13. Northmore/Slade 14. Arundell 15. Steward 16. Rodd 17.Barbeary 18. Heyes 19. Lawes 20. T Curry 21. Quirke 22. M Smith 23. Freeman

England play a bok style of rugby. Relying on power strength and setpiece to dominate. The problem is that playing that type of game plays exactly into the strengths of SA. They are trying to beat the boks in areas which the boks are the best in world. This is why England have a very poor historical record against SA.

To think in soccer you have to actually (and sometimes by the police !) forcibly segregate supporters based on their teams, and have them leave the stadium by completely different and separate sides. Here all those drunk people mingle, and no incident.
With the other powerhouse rugby nations, u know what u could expect i.e nzl quick ball & speed but with the Boks it's not a finished article & the selectors are having a tough time to choose from the talent pool in SA.

As an Irishman I’ve said it all year, Farrell slade tuilangi (sorry for the spelling) gives me the fear. It’s the midfield that ripped us up in 2019 in Dublin. Has a running and a creative midfield, and one of the best game managers in the world at 10. Smith off the bench for the last 20, move Farrell to 12, slade to 13, tuilangi off the bench after an hour of madness
Rassie Erasmus is the best coach n integrationist ever in SA. The man deserves a bells 🔔 n respect. Listen 👂 to his concerns than attack him cause the ref errors happen every time.

To English fans I would say don't be too downhearted the Boks where in in a far worse situation before the last world cup and the rest is history. Not being a favourite has its advantages especially in a sport like rugby.

Fair play to the books they were by far the best team. They were best in every aspect even with a man down. England didn't have a clue and for me Jones doesn't either. Run out of ideas. If we get to the last 8 in the WC that's an achievement. We are probably third best of the home nations at present.

This was a very good video. The anchor handled the public excellently. The one British girl was somewhat bitter but she was right... the SAfricans did have a few sloppy moments and they allowed their lead to narrow. They often do this when they're comfortably in front. But everyone was balanced in their opinion. SA was stronger on the day but a lot of work to do in both camps. And no bad behaviour by either of the supporters made the day. Thanks. Looking forward to your next video.
Lets also not forget though that England narrowed that lead when SA were down to effectively 13 players.. with their most lively player up to that point in the match being assessed for injury (Faf)

If you are talking about football then I would have to agree with you (sorry lol) but in rugby you have a pretty decent track record at RWC's. Remember the year we put 30+ to nil over you? England need to make a decision play Smith or Farrell. Manu and Henry Slade at 12/13, radwan/Arundell on the wings. I think that Smith just needs to be unleashed and that Farrell being next to him is stopping that talent coming through. We also need to play a more natural 6 and find an 8 who is a rampaging animal. I really don’t think that Jones will change anything now though and England will be lucky to get out of their group come the World Cup. Sad times
