He was entirely defenceless against a guy with tremendous power and devastating knees. The refs #1 job is to protect fighters, Goddard’s the best in the business. He wasn’t coming back from that and saved Adesanya from being put out cold. We’ll get a rematch soon lol. No point in unnecessarily giving a guy serious head trauma by letting that continue. We don’t see guys come back from worse then that nearly ever, very rarely. And especially not from a guy with such power, Alex is an absolute sniper, Izzy wasn’t staring at his feet and hands lol he was semi conscious acting on pure instinct trying to survive. It was a great stoppage.

Very few people noticed that Alex had DESTROYED Irael's legs since the beggining of the fight....just look how Israel can't move in the 5th round like he did during the whole fight....Alex killed his legs and then gone for the kill. Splendid strategy. About the referee stoping the fight...Well duds...if you want to see a rematch....then Israel must be alive to be in it....if the referee didn't stop at that moment Alex could have ended Israel's career in that fight, he wasn't defending himself anymore...If Alex had continued to punish him there it would be a very ugly scene to see....

Dudes on here are casuals, all the final blows connected one way or another (Don't believe me? watch it in slow motion). Alex was already setting up an uppercut that would've connected if Mark didn't stop it. Hell Mark gave Izzy the benefit of the doubt when he went down, he saw what we all saw.. he wasn't responding anymore just gazing at the floor. As for everyone saying the knee would've connected.. Well we will never know because the fight was stopped at the right moment (I don't care how big of a star you are, most fighters have so much pride to accept a fight was stopped when needed).
