Top notch content and great info on this videos!
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching!
Great explanation and video as always :)
beautiful explanation regarding twin scroll manifold 👍
Hey bud new to your channel have subscribed have been looking for someone doing this kind of stuff for years lol I have a vectra vxr and a vectra sri and I was thinking about putting a turbo on the sri so this video has been amazing for me to decide witch way to go so thanks very much for your knowledge and I will defo get my stuff from you ones I start my project ;)
excellent video 👍🏻👍🏻
4:30 'velecity' was the word you were looking for. And in the context of the gas flow being uniform at high velocity
Great tutorial
Thanks for watching! Let us know if there is anything else you want to see!
On diesel projects that you go not far than 6000 rpm, twin scroll big turbo you can achieve huge torque boost and less lag, so could be the best choice
Thanks for your video explaining.. for porsche 997 turbo need for both low and high rpm action.. do you think the twin gates it's the correct choice?!
For Clio swap Megane RS 2 turbo engine with G25-550 ..are you able to fabbricate ? a lot of creek problem this time Attack season..tks
just awesome content and products ! I visited your website but couldn't find any manifolds. do you have twin scroll manifold available for the rb25 Neo?
Thanks for watching! Afraid we don't produce manifolds for that...yet! : )
Hello So do you need to run the twin wastegate?
I see some divided manifolds for 4cyl. That have the option for one big gate (intersecting cyl 1&2 exh collectors), or two smaller gates (1&4, 2&3). And people report that the results are the same. Is this true? Because it seems counterintuitive.
What if i make 2 exports from each scroll and vband them with one external ?
Great video. One question. Do you think there's a way to use a twin scroll on a five Cylinder? Uneven sides on the turbine?
Thanks Scott. Not really I don't think : (
Run 2 cilinders to the quick spooling part of the turbo and 3 to the other side that's able to flow more
Never heard of an after market twin scroll turbo kit for a Miata/MX-5.
What if you run a twin scroll manifold with a single scroll turbo? Is that possible? I’m just curious because I’m looking up turbo manifold for my 2JZGTE engine and I have a Precision 7675
I kinda wonder the same, I have a 3576 with a t4 single opening but will be making my manifolds setup as a twin scroll incase I need to switch to a twin scroll for faster spool on the .82 housing
Of course it's possible. It's going to spool just a bit better and have just a bit more back pressure at high rpm than an open entry single scroll T4.
Hi do make a manifold for 2015 Mini Cooper 1.5 turbo 3 cylinder and where are you based cheers Andy
Hi Andy. Thanks for watching. Not at the moment, however we are going to be developing our R53 Mini Cooper in the next few weeks and will start working on some parts. Keep your eyes peeled!
I got a question , so i have a twin scroll t4 manifold , but instead of it having two wastegates ends it only has one , they all connect to one wastegate , how would that work ? Its pretty weird to me , i seen twin scroll manifolds and they all have two wastegate tubes , im just wondering why is this one connecting to one wastegate if its a twin scroll manifold 🤷🏽♂️
I would also like to know this, was thinking of getting a twin scroll 6boost manifold and they seem to only have one wastegate
@@Jesse-nd6bz i hear two wastegates are needed to be completely effective.
We’res the bass
I recently watched a KZhead video kzhead.info/sun/pd2alsyvnXWdlq8/bejne.html regarding twin scroll turbochargers. I noticed that towards the end of the video a Mitsubishi (or I think it was)variable AR (two diffent size volute) twin scroll turbocharger was discussed. Particularly influencing how spool time was maximized. Could a twin scroll turbo in this style be made mimicking a S475 turbo with the small side being around 25% or (preferably smaller than the standard S475) and the large side being around 75% (or preferably larger than the standard S475). I realize that this might not even be possible but it would be outstanding if it were. Thanks for any thoughts or answers.
my guy had a mini stroke at 7:01 💀
More footage of the manifolds would’ve been nice, instead of focusing on the guy explaining it. This could have been a podcast if u’r just recording his face.
