I think it's so funny how jake paul acted the exact same way when he beat a retired 36 year old wrestler who just had hip surgery
Why are you even comparing the two? Casual
@@Simp_Police_ Hes not, he’s just saying that paul boy is trying to imitate McGregor
@@Simp_Police_ do you even know what a comparison is?? Obviously not

People can hate McGregor but he always gives you a vibe of a Gladiator fighting in a Colosseum

@@knuckle-sandwichmma681 Exactly dude. I wish to see him Get his Prime back. Reality is often Disappointing
@@st-pierre7157 very disappointing
@@st-pierre7157 why though. Do you know how risky this sport is? You can easily become paralyzed for life, if not just have crazy injuries that cause you pain for the rest of your life. Hell, you can die in this sport. He made a ton of money and can now enjoy it. I honestly don’t know why he doesn’t just retire and coach people for fun, and spend the rest of his time doing whatever he wants. People act like saying,”oh but so and so held the title for longer so he’s the GOAT.” Matters in this sport. This ain’t golf or tennis, it’s a violent sport that was just made up recently and might get banned and disappear at some point. Who cares if you’re considered “the best” in something like that. The prestige is made up. He got rich playing this game. Good for him. Otherwise he would have just been a plumber in the poor part of Ireland which is what his dad wanted for him as a kid.
Absolutely!!
People think its the money that changed him, I think it is more the lack of a goal. He accomplished his goals so he dodnt have that same mindset and desire to win or that insecurity that drives you to prove people wrong.
AH i agree bro i guess after winning his 2nd belt he felt accomplished and lost focus
This...is the best comment of them...all , people dont seem to realise that he manifested everything...he wanted
He won 2 championships and got 100million he had nothing else to prove
I was expecting his stand up to be the best we'd see of Connor during the Khabib fight since he just fought one of the best boxers in history. But he was so unmotivated that it was his worst performance by a long shot.
After he got two belts he didn’t care anymore
This was such a golden era
To short of time to be golden era though. Blip on radar
golden era for the casuals maybe.. the past 2 years have been the best for real fans: stacked divisions, super talented fighters everywhere, best LW, WW and MW fighters in the history of the company, almost every top 10 of every division is well rounded (striking, wrestling, TD deff, bjj)..
imcoolwith that Clearly you’re only a “casual fan” of the English language considering you can’t spell the word division correctly.
@A FOOKIN ALCOHOLIC not really. He has got a point.
A FOOKIN ALCOHOLIC casuals don’t call people casuals. Losers who want to feel special call others casuals. It’s so pathetic
What this man was able to give me as a fan from 2013-2017 is something I’ll never forget. If he does return I’ll be happy but if not I’ll be thankful. Absolute legend
Yeah man truly
Once a fan always a fan win, lose or draw. Something you clearly haven’t thaught about seeing it was 2017 you “stopped being a fan” it must of been because of all the outside of the ufc problems he got himself involved in but you need to take in consideration that that’s all apart of who he is and he won’t change for no one 💚🤍🧡

One of the best cards in UFC history. Lawler and MacDonald fought just before these two.
The Isaiahnator I agree main card full of early KO’s best even iv watched other than maybe the first msg
205 was great, but 217 was better (just my humble opinion).
The Isaiahnator yeah I think maybe the wonder boy Woodley fight would hurt 205 as being a top contender but I mean 189 having mendes McGregor and Lawler Rory alone is insane let alone how all the previous fights ended before that
IDK, Woodley/Wonderboy was a great fight (they got FOTN). But it was a bit of a slow burn at the beginning, so I see your point. And, of course, the rematch was one of the worst fights ever. 😥😂
I’m blessed that I went to UFC 217. That was my first UFC event.
This was the Conor I wanted to see in the khabib fight he wasn’t moving like normal. Very stiff it was hard to watch him lose as an Irish man myself but that’s life
jakegetscake Yes. He seemed unprepared, probably underestimated Khabib. Maybe he should have fought someone else first after this long break. I hope he gets a rematch; he‘s done a lot better against Diaz the second time, I think he learned something against Khabib too.

Wow wow wow awesome many people commenting on conor like he’s goat Mc chicken. No problem. Thats the human behaviour. One bad match and you people forgot how good he was in his past matches. No one in the ufc work for the pride everyone work for money. The way conor talks its his style of talking that is the reason why we love to watch him. Here we pay for entertainment. People like khabib are everywhere in india. India is a biggest platform for wrestling 🤼♂️ grappling we call it kushti. Khabib wont last first round. That doesn’t mean he is bad. If conor lost doesnt mean he is mcchicken. Take any name M ali. Mike tyson all have ups and downs. They did not gave up. Same way conor will do. He is not a local fighter. Remember he has skills talent and accuracy in punches which were missing on that day He will win again for sure
Maybe it was business...i hope... i still think that Conor is the greatest UFC fighter 👍
The moment that Conor showed he really had a heart.

They said the same shit in the 2nd Diaz fight people were saying McGregor won’t even land a punch against Diaz on a full camp 🤦♂️
Conors knee looked fine. If his knee wasn't healthy he wouldn't have constantly been throwing kicks off of it successfully. On a full camp, Chad wins an easy TKO or UD in my opinion. To be fair, even though I think Conors knee was fine, I think he could have been better off his back and in grappling if he had trained for a strong wrestler. We'll see how good that grappling is when he fights Khabib though. Can't wait for that

Blame his chin and his training of course
Short notice fight for chad, he didint have a gas tank after he took some damage.
If I recall correctly Conor had suffered a knee injury weeks prior
Chad wasn't ready for a 5 round fight which is why the UFC chose him. Chad laid out the blue print on how to beat Conor.
That first spinning body kick he did on Mendes hit him right in the lung and it was actually painful for Mendes to breathe. His gas tank was non-existent after that kick.
