U-Boat Underwater Explosion /Diorama/ Epoxy Resin art
In this video I created a U-Boat Submarine Underwater Explosion Epoxy Resin Diorama
I tried to make it as simple as possible.
The diorama is illuminated by a battery operated LED strip
I started this project about 10months ago but I had to put it aside
because I was working on other projects anc commission works.
Recently I found the time to finish it.
I hope that you like the final result.
Thank you for watching and see you again soon.
All the best

RIP to my fellow mariners on eternal patrol. 😪
boylei hobby time sent me here 😊
Thank you. Hope you stick around
This turned out very well. Super cool. Maybe doing a series where you show the sub breaking apart in a couple stages and finally resting on the seafloor would be cool.
Thanks for the idea!
You are back with another great diorama. As always, that was so amazing and so great. I and my kids enjoyed very much. My kids said : Wow, Dad, look...the explosive looks so perfect and so real...amazing. Well done, 4THE CRAFT. Thanks for the video ya. God bless you...😊🤗

This work is amazing Michael 👌🏻 do you take ideas from subscribers?
Thank you. Yes I always pay attention to my subscribers requests.
Very nice job. Would be nice to include the "brand/type" of resin you used for this since resins differ in the exotherm heat produced after the pour. Shame you don't disclose that information to help others out. My 4" deep pour of Liquid Glass (a deep pour resin) is now beginning to decompose my sub's paint (sealed of course) and the associated cotton simulating the explosion.
I have shown many times in older videos the resin I am using and always reply to people who want to know the brand. It is the Resoltech wwa resin. Resin is a difficult product to work with especially when you submerge plastic models in it. What happened to you sometimes happens also to me so don't get very frustrated but keep trying .
Unfortunately the same happened to me. I am using a deep pour resin and it dissolved the mat finish (which is testors acrylic mat varnish)
Love it! Great video! What brand of deep pour epoxy do you prefer?
Resoltech wwa
👍👍👍
Great. Which Resin did you used for the water(effect)?
Thanks. I used the Resoltech WWA
Nice work on this submarine, did you coat the model with UV resin before filling area with clear resin?
Yes, I always do that before I pour the epoxy resin
simply fantastic. My compliments. Have a question, what resin do you use to make such high castings in one go?
I have used the resoltech wwa
@@4THECRAFT ok, many thx
Wonderful! What brand resin is that?? Woodlands Scenics?
It is resoltech wwa
Make a Britannic missing the mind
If you don't mind my asking, What brand of epoxy resin do you use for your deep pours❓️Every brand I research/experiment with only claim "2inch pours." Thank you for your content & your time!
I usually use the Resoltech WWA resin. Many thanks 👍
As always an amazing build.the bulge of water on the surface was the perfect detail addition. I'm sorry I can't contribute to you. I'm trapped in a nursing home unable to walk. My savings have been decimated and I'm holding on to sanity by my fingertips.
Sorry to hear about your struggles . Hang in there and things will improve. I will pray for you.
@@4THECRAFT bless you, thank you for your kind thoughts.
What kind of resin can you use for these kinds of projects? Some types get hot i have heard.
I am using resoltech wwa resin
Where do you get the light for that? I wanna making something similar
It ia a battery operated led strip. You can buy online
i just recently came across ur YT channel. Ur amazing ! Where are you from ?
Thank you. I am Greek
I am not sure if you will see this, but I am trying to get into epoxy resin, and I would like to know what you used for the water? Every video I see online the creator mentions they can only pour up to 2 inches at a time. Also, how did you get the color? Thank you.
I used epoxy resin . The brand I used is resoltech wwa. To make it blue I used a transparent blue color for epoxy resin
do the titan implosion
Can you list your materials you used and where it may be purchased?
I used a Revell model 05154 , resoltech wwa epoxy resin, cotton, led strip, and I made the base from wood. I buy the materials from local stores where I live, so I cannot provide links.

What are you making.
excellent work. In one word "wonderful". Have you considered selling those pieces? or raffle one among your subscribers? It would be a pleasure to be able to choose to have one of your wonderful dioramas.
Thank you. I have done a giveaway a few months ago. I also sell my work and you can check it at my eshop : www.4thecraft.com/diorama

I do sell my work and you can check it at my eshop : www.4thecraft.com/diorama
@@4THECRAFT LOVE IT!!!!!!
Gorgeous. And i hope im not being a dick here, im just thinking this through because ive had an idea for a similar led/cotton wool explosion model - what do you do if the leds stop working? Or need changing?
Thank you. Once the leds are trapped inside the resin you cannot change them in case they burn. However these leds have thousands of hours life. I have models 5 years old and the leds still working fine
