    • What about their fur?Are there many problems with hairs when they change fur.In situation keeping in flat?

  • I have a Belgian Malinois I found it at a kill shelter in Jacksonville Florida she was only 9 months old and only weighed 9 lb. A police officer brought her in so I believe she was used for training because her teeth were filed down and at the sound of a gunshot or firework she freaks out so I think that's why they didn't use her because she was gun shy but she looked so pitiful when I got her I didn't even know what breed she was. But she's definitely full blooded Belgian Malinois from what the Vets tell me and the best dog I've ever had or ever seen in my life. I always wondered what a soulmate was until I found her. I've had her for 4 years now and I hope I have her for many many more years. I have a friend who has nine of them he is actually an attorney with his own Law Firm whose wife just died and he can't handle all of them so I'm thinking about getting a couple more from him

  • Very similar colours to the bitch iv just picked up today but mine is darker overall. She's only 6 week 5 days, didn't want her so early but had no choice. She's fully weened ect so not too bad. Can't wait to start training her.

  • what commands & treats are you using & how long do you do the training at that age?

    • Most of the commands for German. The treats are usually his meal/kibble. And at that age we would train for about 5 mins or until he was done eating. We try to keep training short and fun.

    • Victor Chizar I had a thought of maybe a Shepard or a Shepard mix for our next dog some yrs down the road as we had four, then two weeks later someone gives us a purebred malinios for free, Please , be careful what you pray/wish for , good luck ,now we have four dogs and a malinios.
