A heartbreaking new video captures a teacher and frightened children fleeing from the Nashville school shooting. The video was shot by James Hoffman, who heard gunshots and stopped to help. Hoffman says he slammed on his car's brakes, jumped out of the car and started waving to stop traffic to let them across the road. The video comes as police release chilling 911 calls placed from inside the school.

    • @@louisavondart9178 I hate this mindset. I have a friend who identifies somewhere under the trans umbrella, and we had a discussion about this earlier. Their (my friend) family does not accept gay/trans people, and even make fun of them (The LGBTQ) as a whole. But despite that, they said that they never had the urge to go take innocent people's life. Is trans phobia a reason why this individual shot so many people? Potentially yes. Could love have prevented this? Again, potentially yes. But saying it's the only reason that led up to this event is going to effect the community as a whole, and is generally not safe for trans people. Its going to cause a negative stigma. I apologize if this comment is not written out in a comprehensive way, it's very late in the morning/night and I need to go to bed. Good night. Also apologies if that is not what you meant!

    • @@louisavondart9178 What she needed was therapy. Did you ever think maybe they didn't support it because they loved her? The most important thing you could protect is your soul, being gay and trans threatens your soul because it is far from natural and goes against everything God has intended. You're only here for a small amount of time and then you have eternity, in one place or another depending on how you choose to live your life. Wouldn't you choose you or your loved ones souls over an earthly desire that dies with you?

    • @@nearthecite2031 I don’t think it’s been stated if the shooter identified as a man when they were 9 years old. And it was such a long time ago, I doubt any school staff that worked there at the time remembered them. I’m a Christian who was bullied as a child, I have nothing against people within the LGBTQ Community, but it’s hard for me to feel sympathy towards someone who killed 6 innocent people including 3 children. I feel more sympathy for the victim’s families and anyone in the trans community who may be targeted because of this person’s actions. At least, I’m hoping that no one in the transgender community will end up in danger because of this.
