Because of vids like this, the replica bag has improved tremendously. I have authentic LV bags but purchased a replica of this bag. My replica has all of the things you pointed out on the original, the lighter/dark stitching is on the correct sides. You could probably solve the collapsing bag problem easily with a purse organizer. It gives the bag structure. It’s pretty standard to use them in LV bags also.

I can’t afford an LV but I’d rather spend $4,000 on one LV bag then get 10 bags for $400 each. The qualify of LV, Dior, and YSL (Chanel not so much anymore) is out of this world. It’s not a ridiculous amount when you consider the quality and craftsmanship that goes into these bags.

@@TheMsbell39 I used to think the same way and thought I should only buy real leather purses from Louis Vuitton such as their Epi bag instead of the monogram. However, I’ve noticed that my real LV monogram canvas purses are very durable and will most likely last me a lifetime since I’ve had one of my purses for over 20 years and others about 15, 10 and 5 years. Every time I bought a hood fake, the purse fell apart within a couple of weeks or lasted no longer than six months. Louis Vuitton’s Monogram canvas was originally created for LV travel bags and suitcases so they are very durable compared to many fake LVs. So, I think a real LV is a better investment since it will last you a lifetime with proper care or you can resell; however, you can’t resell fake LV purses since they fall apart within weeks unless you are lucky if they last up to 6 months.

Not all of the LV dust covers have a draw string. Some real ones actually are a fold over like the fake one you showed. Of course the stitching is very good, no loose threads.

LV as of March 2021 will no longer attach date codes to bags. They are now discretely microchipped and scanned in store/factory for repair inquiries

The real question is, would you buy this fir $35? Good replicas are made from quality material and often in the same factories that can be spot on for less than $60. Not China Town stuff they slap together like this video. This was a bad comparison with a cheaply made made. Additionally, some of us can afford real bags 10x over but are slowly finding out they are mass produced in factories THEN shipped to France etc to put the logos on them. Even big brands can partake in trafficking and shady black market practices. I just got a Chanel for $40 and compared it to my besties, spot on! Actually, in the medium on the go the design is cut off! I also thought LV don’t cut the design off and saw the medium and was confused. I know you said initials but looks like in some bags they have not kept to that original quality we knew LV to have 😊

I lived in South America for almost 20 years. There, I was twice robbed of my handbag. The first time, the thief broke a car window and took my bag. The second time, I was trying to board a bus and a group of thieves pressed against me. I love quality handbags and beautiful craftmanship, but in some places it is not practical to carry an authentic, expensive handbag. Mine were not expensive handbags, but the robberies were still traumatic. I plan to make my own handbag copies myself, only for myself, just for the fun of it. But, in my opinion, it is not a deal-breaker that the faux bag doesn't stand up on its own, because once someone puts their personal items inside the satchel it'll stand up just fine due to the weight. And, I really like that the imitation bag is made of genuine leather (no matter if it's lambskin, sheepskin, or cowhide) because that means it will last for an exceptionally long time if taken care of properly. I like the fact that the faux bag's designer print is marvelously similar to the real LV. The fact that the thread stitching isn't like the real LV can be an issue if one is in close proximity to others that can differentiate between an authentic and unauthentic LV... I didn't perceive that the LV logo on the front of the fake bag wasn't correctly stamped as you mentioned, as it appeared just fine from my point of view... I like that the inside of the faux bag is made well and is the correct color match. Overall, in my opinion, if someone couldn't afford a genuine LV, well then, the faux LV is a smart substitute as many people often fake it until they make it... However, beware, as not all faux bags are created with great care. Yet, if one can afford to purchase an authentic LV bag, well then, certainly do it as that would be an intelligent investment since it has great resale value. Additionally, an authentic LV bag is manufactured exceptionally well since it is the best quality that's made from the finest materials. It's made to last for decades. An LV bag (or any haute couture designer brand) reveals status and triggers confidence. Moreover, most people that carry an attractive (or beautiful) luxurious authentic handbag (no matter if they are aware or unaware) signal to others, I'VE ARRIVED; and that's important to some people. 💅

Just an FYI I have the same bag purchased in summer 2021…. After March 2021 LV no longer includes date stamps in their bags, but are instead microchipped. So this actually is something else that makes it harder to tell an authentic from fake

There are some spot on gorgeous replicas out there. I always say to each its own. Judge thee not for carrying the real thing and judge thee not for carrying a fake. After all it’s just a handbag to carry your items in, nothing more or nothing less. I think and I said think because I have been involved in some heated discussions regarding this, the problem why so many authentic LV carriers have such a strong negative opinion about fake LV bags carriers is that if it’s a very good replica by the seeing eye you can’t tell the difference.

To each his own as you have said. Personally I like buying luxury bags but have to save up for them. I would rather have the real deal than buy a replica. I recently checked in at a hotel and a lady in line wore what looked like a replica LV bag. It was the same as the real LV I wore but honestly it looked so bad, did not hold its shape etc. To each his own but wouldn't want to be compared in public. I will humbly wear what I can afford first and what my bank account allows.
Hi there. Nice tips. As of this year (2021), LV no longer have date codes. LV now use microchip embedded in their bags. It can be detected by using an app. It won’t tell you the date code, but you can detect the chip. Thanks for the video.

I kept a handbag from my mum and the quality is so good, the bag looks new. I don't use it every day, I don't use any of my bags every day. But a sturdy, well-made structured bag will last-just don't throw it in a train yard.
The real bag will stay last long 20-30 years ( $175 per year ) if you take a good care , but the Fake one $350 ( $116 per year for 3 year ) I’m believe the bag will change the shape badly , after a few year especially the handle look horrible , some of LV store now they do Lay away plan too .Why not choose your dream bag at LV store ::))
It's NOT leather, it's resin coated canvas with minimum leather trim. Many people believe that these bags are made of leather, wrong ! The 'fabric' costs almost nothing, comes in huge rolls, is digitally printed.
I still love my LV reverse monogram *esluxscom* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

I happen to own 2 authentic Louis Vuitton bags and thank you for pointing out the flaws of the fake LV bags vs the real ones. I think that ‘it’s also worth mentioning the price , because I know for a fact, that real authentic LV’s never ever go on sale! if you are fond of visiting outlet malls like me, 😀 you’ll never find a Louis Vuitton store in any of these outlets. To be fair about holding shape, my Neverful GM came folded in a box, and still today, three years later it will not hold its shape. Honestly, I'm kinda mad they deformed my bag instead of using a proper large box. Same with my one-year-old Graceful MM, it came in a smaller box and it too has a folded shape to it. I asked for a bigger box and they gave me one, but the damage is already done. Plus, the LV bags will have a nice buttery feel to them with a nice sheen. Fakes feel like rubber and are dull. Not all monogram bags will have the same tint of yellow in the monogram. That can depend on the humidity in the air, the thickness of the press, the country that makes it, and the drying time. Fact: If a wallet and bag are not printed from the same batch, it will be hard to get a perfect match. I waited through several store deliveries to get the closet match for my Graceful and it still wasn't perfect.
The authentic tote bag is made from coated canvas. The only leather pieces are the date code tag and the 'made from' tag. The replica is made out of PU leather or synthetic leather. There's a grading system when buying replica handbags. You got ripped off on that $300 replica handbags. That's a low grade handbag and it should cost way less then $300. $300 could of got you high 1:1 grade almost mirror grade. Mirror grades almost true to the authentic handbags.

They have a bad rep that’s why the low quality. And this bag has been cracking at the seams where the canvas folds. So although trendy, I bet it won’t hold value in long term because it would have fallen apart. Not to forget LV doesn’t repair cracked canvas.

Your comments are interesting, but only hold true for the specific dupe bag you received. There are better copies and lesser copies. Also, you can get the box with a dupe if you want. They’re $30-40 and increase the price of shipping significantly. And, I’m pretty sure that style is canvas. I just bought an OTG from LV. It was overnighted from Texas. The box arrived ripped. They should have stuffed the bag, that would have helped the integrity of the box.

Use a hair dryer to soften the vinyl on the Dupe to straighten it, and put on a stack of books upside down while you do that. lV is vinyl coated canvas, only the handles etc are leather
