Bruce Wayne (Suite) | The Batman (OST) by Michael Giacchino
With "The Batman", Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson brought to life a new version of Bruce Wayne and explored certain sides of his character in a way that has never been done before in the big screen. This portrayal of Bruce is emotionally hurt by his trauma but also committed to his mission to save Gotham from corruption and bring hope to people.
For these traits, Michael Giacchino created a heartwarming and sort of "heroic" theme, full of melanchony, that elevates some of the most touching and inspiring scenes of the movie. Although it might be a bit of a stretch to separate this theme from the most distinct Batman theme (in fact they are quite well intertwined in the score), I wanted to dedicate this theme a full video on its own. In a score filled with intense and dark tones, this theme stands out for me as my favourite. Enjoy it!

"I'm starting to see now. I've had an effect here, but not the one I intended. Vengeance won't change the past. Mine or anyone else's; I have to become more. People need hope"
I actually did not expect the movie to justify the existence of the Bruce Wayne persona. But thinking about it, it's perfectly logical, the guy we see is JUST BATMAN, so he has to make up Bruce Wayne, and he's not gonna do it unless he has a good reason to. Amazing, Matt Reeves ACTUALLY THINKS about the main character's motivations for "doing stuff". 👏👏👏😜 Edit: Wish I was kidding, but I'm not, it's so impressive that this was not half @$$ed, not even close!
@@samf.s8786 half assed?
Yea he gotta do more because he did ZERO lol. Riddler played him, self captured himself, flooded the city, and all Batman did was pick a few people up 😂

sonata in darkness will go down in history as one of the most beautiful scores ever written.
Ever written and played.
Agreed.
Alright calm down
@@jamescoleman3103 nah
Didnt fit the movie at fucking all.
Robert pattinson really looks like batman which is crazy to say
any descent looking tall white man with some form of human muscles can look like bruce wayne :D but thats not the point. "Why the mask? - anyone could be batman"
@@jonathanwick5582 but Robert Pattinson once dubbed most handsome man alive, literally played a vampire, is about 6’1, honestly is perfect casting for a young Bruce.
its the jawline...
He still need some pounds too really look like a Bruce Wayne
I listen to this when I’m depressed because it’s a beautiful piece of art🥲
😭
Then I wish you to never listen to that again . Unless you ever listen to it out of joy :) . Good strength !! .
Indeed.
Stop being depressed. There's a light in all of us. You just need to find yours. Be the hero that's inside of you 🤠
I love this track, and love how reminiscent it is of Shirley Walker's Batman themes.
I was surprised at how emotional the soundtrack was. I got heavy vibes from the LOTR soundtrack, actually the Breaking of the Fellowship track specifically. Both themes sound very nostalgiac, melancholic and forlorn. Yet, hopeful. I wonder if I'm the only one who thought that...
This soundtrack was phenomenal for me, it really pictured each scene and the tone of this movie. Honestly, the bat’s true calling is currently my favorite because of its melancholic yet hopeful tone, basically showing what Batman is supposed to be.
No you were not the only one, even i got LOTR vibes!!
+1 to LOTR vibes
Best Batman ever ever EVER thank you Michael giacchino Robert Pattinson will brave us and rescue us from darkness
Listening this soundtrack is like listening the music that all my live I'd always waited to hear...
Such a beautiful movie.
My only issue with this video is that it isn't long enough. I wish i could listen for an hour. Awesome work👏
so put it on loop 😭😭😭
I’ve been listening to this a lot since hearing about Kevin Conroy’s passing and, while I know this wasn’t written for him, it still fits my mood. Robert Pattinson was a fine Batman. This film was the best Batman film since “The Dark Knight,” but I’ll miss Kevin Conroy’s voice. He was a great Batman
Actually, if you listen very closely, the music has very subtle reminisce to the Animated Series, especially the piano score. I can only hope that MG did this to pay an omage to the series.
So far, this is the most human version of Bruce and Batman that has existed, and that to me. I loved I never imagined that the type of twilight that I criticized so much and made fun of, and a director who actually knew nothing of his previous work... would manage to do what it is in my opinion. The second best batman movie ever made. And if they continue like this, I'm not afraid or mincing words to say that this could be an exceptional trilogy, worthy of surpassing Nolan's. in my opinion.
You didn’t watch new planet of apes trilogy?!
All in this movie are perfect !
They really got the dark mysterious vibe down for this along with it being hopeful as well
these are my favorites
This is the best Batman movie ever made. Period.
Dark knight #1 sorry.

@jonathanbeauchamp586 you are entitled to your opinion 😀
Academy: I’m sorry Mr. Giacchino, but your music isn’t Oscar worthy. Michael Giacchino’s music: 2:14.

@@snazzyshoes6409 how can they share a theme ? I’ve listened to the album start to finish and if anything the Batman Highway to anger zone And sonata in darkness are all his
@@armanimartinez8105 because that track features both their themes and its hard to divorce them when they were composed like that. It's really not rocket science
this is the bruce wayne theme
Funeral and Far Between is definitely Bruce’s theme. It’s telling a story of a young man who’s never gotten over his trauma. His parents’ death is the weight on his shoulders.
This theme fucking sucks. Like its genuinely awful especially that ending part. It felt totally out of place I hate it.
