You and me both!

Nice, the og of concrete still kickin out the work
For sure TY
All the way through the 70's-2010's block walls were all built with tongue and grove blocks with piller blocks with a pocket in each side for the block to set into every 8-10 feet. With #4 in each side of piller and two bond beams at around 3' and again on 6' ish. It's more common now to see an entire block wall with no pillers. But they do still do it that way in AZ. I'm in North Peoria (around lake pleasant) and house was built 4 years ago and still built with pillers on 8' centers. Making the block walls strong.... We get insane monsoon summers and wind gets up to the 60-80mph at times.
Same situation here in Bullhead AZ
It is going to be a fabulous project. Can't wait to see the rest of it.
me too TY

Hey Dave, I see you permanently moved to Arizona. Hope you do good there. Nice to see you back.

Holy smoke that looks great.
I concur. TY
Beautiful job
TY
Amazing job, gorgeous scenery with those hills in the background, compared to the rainy flatlands here around Amsterdam
I need to get out there to check it out. TY
Yup, out here in arizona, pour the footing and set all your block wall ilon top. No need to wait. WetSet your first row and go back to front and start mortor. Concrete sets up fast in our heat and rocky granite soil.
For sure
wow that wall went up fast!
I was surprised myself
I am always Impressed with the Pride everyone here puts into their work. All your work is a showpiece because of this.. I might move closer to you because you're not here in Florida.
A lot of people have moved here from CA, FL. and other States
Drop dead gorgeous

Nice work. I like the double reinforcement with the rebar, you can never have enough of it. That split face with the tongue and groove block really looks good. Looking forward to the next video. Thank you Sir
Thanks 👍
Wow what a job! Incredible what you guys get done in one day! Top work well done David 👏🏼 Watching from the u.k 🇬🇧
Thank you so much 😀
Nice to see you back. Who’s Jacob age 21. On the wheel barrow. Property lines look crazy. Lol
My nephew's wheelbarrow, my dad gave it to him for a high school graduation gift.
Hey, DOD, good to see you.

Amazing work. Thanks for the video without parts
Glad you liked it! More parts to come at this location.
Great video!

811 in Arizona to call for utilities. It's a 3rd party location company that looks at utility maps and underground location equipment. Just call 811 7 days before. If you break anything and 811 was called out you are not liable. Good for more expensive repairs like gas lines where they evacuate the entire block until fixed (I've been evacuated from construction companies breaking a gas line up to a quarter mile away, the fire dept and southwest gas evacuate all in the city block as a CYA ) or fiber lines.
It happens
Wow. Incredible. What does a job like this cost in AZ?
85 a lineal foot

Feel like that's the nicest house in the neighborhood now.. no wonder they want a block wall around the house :V
The price is right, up and coming neighborhood, one block from the River
Indeed! Glad to see you back. Hope you and your son are doing well.
For sure, how about you?
@OdellCompleteConcrete doing well, thank you for asking.
The only thing this would have needed is that 50/50 horse hair brush on those beams.
We got it on the walkways
@@OdellCompleteConcrete that’s what I’m talking about .
I enjoy watching your videos that showcase your great experience and skills. I have a question about my backyard entrance, my patio door is almost 2ft up from the foundation with siding underneath it. What would be the best method for stairs? I'm not sure I want to cover up the siding with a permanent material.
Wood, or remove siding in that area and utilize the block or concrete steps to enclose.
The best to do it.♟
TY
Awesome, work, keep it up 👍 how you liking AZ ?
Top notch overhere
Have y'all ever poured concrete slab for a patio or something with a curb edge? Do you pour the curb first, let it cure, and then pour the slab?
Sometimes, I pour it all at once
It's always nice when you go to the back of the truck, and your Ho is ready to work. 😂
I appreciate that
would be really interesting if you gave us an idea of cost for the homeowner for these jobs you’re doing. I understand you might not want to be specific but even like a ‚overall cost between 20 and 30 grand‘ or something that would be awesome.
80 a lineal foot
Ty for the therapeutic video from life full send bro never lift 😏 🤙 mobbin deep 🙌. This project looks like a hot mess, but OG Dave for the win 🫡 AZ for the win can't wait the next video
I concur TY
Isn't it overkill? Would protect even against a zombie attack! :)
Thats the goal
Just out of curiosity, im from Europe btw, nice channel and job, i follow every video keep up. When you say "Electrical" did the guys that are hired by state to setup the electrical installations messed up everything and done it badly? And what are those cables that are loosely tossed and intertwined in the fence, what voltage goes through them, are those wires for the neighbors house or?
All the communications, and eletric runs behind the houses. Mohave Cooperative failed to show up to mark underground locations. All other companies did mark underground. All wires laid on the ground were for communication , no hazard in breaking them , other than no more internet, cable or phone.
First 👍
Knocked it out Ty
Lame
Second but within a 90 seconds. Close TY
Ive never heard of a manufactured home having garage option. Or was that added on as a separate building?
A separate building financed with the Manufactured home
Did you cavity fill the whole wall or just the cells with rebar
cells with rebar only
how much do you charge for this work? I have a corner house I think it'll look great on (2 sides of fencing)
80 a lineal foot
Hi Odell, how much would something like this cost? I’m over in he desert too.
12500
@@OdellCompleteConcrete thanks Odell!
@@OdellCompleteConcretekiller deal, in my market (North East)
why you cut the block in two pcs and what is the top cover on the block?
Split blocks save block and digging. The cap is 2" x 8" x 16"
How do you like living in Arizona now? I'm sure you are saving tons of money on the expenses, but are you making as much / do you have more work?
Much better, cost of living and home ownership is possible here, no traffic and population growth has good potential
Yeah I can't blame you Odell. I would have your kids get out of California also. California is just way too expensive, and you probably can get more work out there. If you save on the cost-of-living, it's worth it if you don't make as much living in Orange County. Remember if this wall gets any bigger, Trump might call you to help build a wall in Texas ; ).
They don't sell half high block out West? That's a lot of cutting there at the start.
Yes they do but they cost the same as full block, and when you get them, half are broken.
I could not live behind a brick wall. For goodness sakes what are these people afraid of!!
Privacy, sound proofing, fire control, and more
I think you tripled the value of the house
And the neighbors.
How much is a wall like that?
90 a foot
The home owner spent more money on this job than his house is worth. Lol
I wish
Damn, are these people expecting an invasion??
Standard issue
Call and report a non response
good idea
American utility looks like a mess
For sure
Not a fan of the brick design the homeowner went with.
I like it, in this case
Cable TV installers are the WORST! Pure laziness.
I concur
Most Beautiful ? That's the ugliest block wall i've ever seen .. including the house. Nothing is in proportion. I don't even care if you stucco the block. Fire the architect and designer pronto !
OSS
Dave I've been following you for a long time... In saw your video on your property where you drilled for a well and how you set it up, which was awesome... I have a home in Lake Havasu and had a wall built around the house last year. Had I known you did work out that way I would have liked to have gotten a bid from you! The guy who did the work was recommended and I wasn't real happy with his end result. My question to you; Do you know anyone who does a stucco finish? Looking forward to your reply! My name is Rich...
I do it all, just one call. TY
