  • You can tell he’s had that motor apart before, maybe more than once it looks like. It came apart way to easy. Any .I’ve disassembled has been much harder to separate than that, even with a hammer.

  • The idea of the thing is ok, but it ended there as you can see when the project was concluded. It truly is a diy project. It’s nor squared, even close and the moving parts is going to ruin a lot of thing he tries to do with it. Question for you, WHY DO YOU THINK HE CHOSE THE FILLER HE DID. He chose the roller that was the second largest roller, can you imagine how over sized the hole ' would have looked if he had used the second largest filler which was the one he cut for it. I started my upholstery shop in 1963 and one thing I’ve learned over the years is measurements must be precise or you may screw up a piece of furniture real easy and a lot of the time you, as I said, screw up something that might have started out to be expensive but now has to be sold as damaged or seconds or thirds, depending how bad it looks or fits. He is going to ruin a lot of fits with those drum sanders, did you see how wobbly they were moving up and down, it’s going to be hard to sand anything precise with what he made here. There are other faults, with it to, bad ones. For it to be a good project will require a lot of changes actually. If you are going to build it may I suggest that you take the plans or the video and let someone you trust go over it with you.
