  • Brewing at that scale and on a system like that, a brewer has to almost be an engineer. It’s impressive how dialed in you guys are. One thousand turns a year will do that! If your BSG rep watches the channel and saw what was under the monitors, you might be getting a call 😉

  • Now this Video shows many years of research trial error. Semi Automation is very interesting. Do you change Mash temps per Beer Style or specific beer. Reason I ask is changing temps on some of my IPAs can make the hops Pop more or Malts adding front end with the sweetness added or removed . Lower mash temp is sweeter malt ? Higher Mash Temp is sugar remover, dryer finish. ? Love your set up ....Makes a consistent product doable.

    @brewtimematters7395@brewtimematters739517 күн бұрын
    • we don’t do pilot batches. doing a batch on a less precise system and then scaling it to the one we use all the time would be counterproductive

  • Awesome video, please keep them coming. You mention "we aren't worried about efficiency we're worried about wort quality". Is the learning when you're brewing big beers (IIPA) to focus more on the process rather than efficiency?

    @mbourke85@mbourke8515 күн бұрын
    • Making good beer is the priority. Efficiency is the last thing we worry about. Not saying we are wasteful, but there are quality issues to consider. For example, a centrifuge will objectively damage your beer, so it’s something we have never done in spite of the massive savings it would create.
