Matt is out with some buddies for a spring snow goose conservation hunt. They scouted the night before and set up where the snow geese were feeding. It wasn't long after first light, that the snow geese started flying and decoying in perfectly. The group had a great morning with big flocks of snow geese committing. Snow goose hunting doesn't get any better!

Awesome hunt Matt! Here in Colorado, it was one of the worst conservation seasons in a while. But it was like that all year long. But this was a great hunt to watch. Love the vids!

That's so special and unusual for me to watch! I understand the necessity of this kind of regulatory spring culling goose seasons for protecting some of the winter cereal seedings, but strange you are in corn stubble?¿??? But yes they are attracted to your fantastic spread, isn't it nice when a plane goes right, you are the A team, you are Hannibal (Sam Sheppard character!) Michigan recommends no more than two pounds of goose consumed per month because of dioxin. Sure hope you are eating all those beauties and not just throwing them away after they’re freezer burnt while you eat McDondos all year.
I eat everything I harvest. They're also a lot healthier than McDonald's.

Love your videos, but I really don't understand that "shooting blindly" in to the flock. I know that it is the conservation season and those geese numbers must be decreased but just how many birds got wounded from those shots.. Your style normally is one shot, one kill and and thats how it supposed to be done. Maybe its the name of the game with snows but as an european waterfowler I cant understand this 🙄
No, that's a fair point. I flockshot the first group and ended up just wasting shells. I readjusted after and was able to bag more just focusing on one bird at a time.
