I think that's the magic powder that made the earlier BF games so good. It's just good gunplay and good maps, not that many magic gadgets. I feel like Dice tried to make BF more "epic" when the "epicness" or "only in Battlefield" came from the players in a destructible sandbox, not from silly mechanics and gadgets.

The amount of weapons, setting and stuff is by far the best in BF4. But I genuinely think the gun-game and movement was superior in BFV. It felt so damn smooth and snappy. BF4 absolutely shows it's age in movement etc.

One thing I realized in this video is that without even talking to other players, the classes and squads allow a lot more coordination with random players than you get with talking to other players in other shooters.

NOPE Bf its from all games from its kind one of the most overwhelming experiences with the roles thanks to the class system even enlisted with the alot of chaos per match you can feel when someone its making a good job with its platoon, An Good engineer, radio operator, Aviator, tanker, Assaulter, even the flamethrower guy can make alot of difference on the match because its role its based on the task for that unit, same goes for other games like SQUAD, HLL, where roles are Limited per squad members, and where if the unjustified use of the role in the Squad will lead of strip of that role from you

This Battlefield gets tons of likes because it reminds us of when we used to watch you play with Matimio, Levelcap, Xfactor, and Jet. It was a solid crew to watch because of the diversity of game play style,, along with the commentary amongst you guys. The closest thing to it would be Warzone during lockdowns. But it still doesn't hold the heart to me, like this game and that crew. I remember playing with my son on this one. Thanks again for the walk down memory lane and sorry for being so winded.

Those were the days, built my first gaming PC for BF4. Remember being so hurt about the game being in a poor state. Boy did that foretell things to come for DICE in future entries. The launches have just become worse and worse. BF4 at least worked off of BF3 and was shaped into a masterpiece through the PTE.

6:00 is exactly why I come back to this game. It really is a game that's kinda like riding a bike. The recoil patterns, the knowledge of when to push or what tricks you can and can't do, for some reason after a while it just sticks to you.

Think it's some sort of ammo depot. There's one by the barracks a bit further down the map. It can come really handy when playing game modes such as Rush on this map.

I bought the game as soon as it dropped, as I had played BF3 a looot, and let me tell you I never felt so amazed with a game before, the gunplay, the content, weapons, crates, everything was so fun, thought out and overall just fulfilling. They did a lot of good things like getting the community involved and just the support was phenomenal. I'll never forget this game. Jack, great video as always, thank you. 😁

Gunplay, teamplay, lighting, textures, environment, sound, movement, everything's just better than 2042 despite being almost a decade older. I got 2042 during the summer sale, played it and though "hmm, it's alright" went out and saw my Dad playing BF4 and it's such a night and day difference. What kills 2042 for me is how samey all the environments are and how textures look like plastic on ultra settings.

@@burna8753 bf4 is most definitely not a reskin lol. Sure it might use very few of the same animations, but it definitely doesn’t have the god awful movement and blue filter that bf3 has. That’s not even a comparison. Bf4 looks a million times better than 3.

one of the best things about BF4 is the custom servers with 1k+ tickets, the standard amount of tickets in battlefield games ia always so low, it makes it imposible for a team to do a comeback because there just isn't enough time to do so

I put a lot of time into BF4, though thinking back, there were elements of BF3 I think stood out better. Obviously 4 had more customisation options and so on, but I honestly think BF3 had a cooler selection of maps, and it was nice the way BF3 divided the weapons between factions until you unlocked down the line, as opposed to BF4 starting everyone out with the same gun.

Jack, you need to use the Offensive specialization so you aren’t constantly running out of ammo. Also, I think you should try out the AUG or AR160 with the range you’re engaging enemies at in this :)

Would love to see them make it so when your team is out of tickets it doesn't just end but instead you fight to the last man but your marked on the map for the enemies or something so you can have a chance to come back when it's close. And the mark would prevent you from hiding forever.

Decent game. For me BF3 is still the best i've played. Everything about it was perfect. Great levels and the atmosphere and sounds on the Battlefield made it reach new levels that other FPS have yet to reach imo.

bf 3 had the annoying blue tint filter, random suppression spread and lots of other flaws. bf4 basically fixed all of those. Bf 3 had better maps tho

Legendary BF game, we probably wont get another one like this. I agree with what you said on the gunplay Jack, feels so special in this game.
I think that's the magic powder that made the earlier BF games so good. It's just good gunplay and good maps, not that many magic gadgets. I feel like Dice tried to make BF more "epic" when the "epicness" or "only in Battlefield" came from the players in a destructible sandbox, not from silly mechanics and gadgets.
@@slashdotism I completely agree with you, the newer games are trying to force the "only in BF moments" and end up closer to a Just Cause game than a BF one
It feels a real BF, like BF3, BC2, but not BF1, V and so on.
Thanks to DICE LA now known as ripple effect. They are the main reason why this game became so stable and had a great amount of content
The amount of weapons, setting and stuff is by far the best in BF4. But I genuinely think the gun-game and movement was superior in BFV. It felt so damn smooth and snappy. BF4 absolutely shows it's age in movement etc.

People seem to forget the launch of BF4 was a disaster and was unplayable for months. A recurring theme with DICE games.

@@driezzy thing is BF4 had potential which meant people were willing to stand by it. The core of the game was strong with loads of guns, attachments, good maps and vehicles. I don't think 2042 has that
One thing I realized in this video is that without even talking to other players, the classes and squads allow a lot more coordination with random players than you get with talking to other players in other shooters.
That's if people are playing their classes
I think it's also the player base that actually knows how to play as a team
NOPE Bf its from all games from its kind one of the most overwhelming experiences with the roles thanks to the class system even enlisted with the alot of chaos per match you can feel when someone its making a good job with its platoon, An Good engineer, radio operator, Aviator, tanker, Assaulter, even the flamethrower guy can make alot of difference on the match because its role its based on the task for that unit, same goes for other games like SQUAD, HLL, where roles are Limited per squad members, and where if the unjustified use of the role in the Squad will lead of strip of that role from you
Meanwhile when I play 90% of people I get teamed up could careless.
That’s because most of the people playing BF4 nowadays aren’t the braindead consumers that buy the game just because it’s a shooter.
This Battlefield gets tons of likes because it reminds us of when we used to watch you play with Matimio, Levelcap, Xfactor, and Jet. It was a solid crew to watch because of the diversity of game play style,, along with the commentary amongst you guys. The closest thing to it would be Warzone during lockdowns. But it still doesn't hold the heart to me, like this game and that crew. I remember playing with my son on this one. Thanks again for the walk down memory lane and sorry for being so winded.
Bro this is it right here. After they fragmented, I lost interest in FPSs.
Those were the days, built my first gaming PC for BF4. Remember being so hurt about the game being in a poor state. Boy did that foretell things to come for DICE in future entries. The launches have just become worse and worse. BF4 at least worked off of BF3 and was shaped into a masterpiece through the PTE.

6:00 is exactly why I come back to this game. It really is a game that's kinda like riding a bike. The recoil patterns, the knowledge of when to push or what tricks you can and can't do, for some reason after a while it just sticks to you.
Um.. every game does that though. It's called playing it and learning.

Think it's some sort of ammo depot. There's one by the barracks a bit further down the map. It can come really handy when playing game modes such as Rush on this map.

I bought the game as soon as it dropped, as I had played BF3 a looot, and let me tell you I never felt so amazed with a game before, the gunplay, the content, weapons, crates, everything was so fun, thought out and overall just fulfilling. They did a lot of good things like getting the community involved and just the support was phenomenal. I'll never forget this game. Jack, great video as always, thank you. 😁
Battlefield 4 is the peak in the franchise
It was BF3 for me, but BF4 is a great successor. (my main multiplayer game)
I'll say it every single BF4 vid. All they had to do was essentially remaster this and we would've all been happy.

Gunplay, teamplay, lighting, textures, environment, sound, movement, everything's just better than 2042 despite being almost a decade older. I got 2042 during the summer sale, played it and though "hmm, it's alright" went out and saw my Dad playing BF4 and it's such a night and day difference. What kills 2042 for me is how samey all the environments are and how textures look like plastic on ultra settings.
Gunplay and team play maybe. But lighting and textures? Come on dude, I hate 2042 just as much as the next guy but it looks phenomenal. I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling or not..
@@Brandon12375 Textures are lighting are obviously better than BF4 but something feels off and like he said- looks like plastic. BF1 and BFV look so good on Ultra, 2042 doesn't.

It was a decade before. You realise bf4 was just a bf3 reskin right? All the gun play etc was all from bf3
@@burna8753 bf4 is most definitely not a reskin lol. Sure it might use very few of the same animations, but it definitely doesn’t have the god awful movement and blue filter that bf3 has. That’s not even a comparison. Bf4 looks a million times better than 3.

one of the best things about BF4 is the custom servers with 1k+ tickets, the standard amount of tickets in battlefield games ia always so low, it makes it imposible for a team to do a comeback because there just isn't enough time to do so
definitely agree. just when the match start getting fun and fighst break out at some flags the game is usually close to over with the normal ticket amounts
i remember 90+ minute Operation Metro matches in BF3. Was epic. U would get so immersed in it and multiple comebacks were possible.

bf4 community still holds up more than all the other games. Even bf3 has some hardcore people running servers. Even if the games aren't supported by dice i can see myself playing these till a good shooter in general comes out

This game was (or is still) amazing to play. It was so balanced, had good modes and nice maps. DICE made us hunt for those easter eggs like we were the FBI or NSA. Those were the times, good community and the nice vibe!

I put a lot of time into BF4, though thinking back, there were elements of BF3 I think stood out better. Obviously 4 had more customisation options and so on, but I honestly think BF3 had a cooler selection of maps, and it was nice the way BF3 divided the weapons between factions until you unlocked down the line, as opposed to BF4 starting everyone out with the same gun.
BF3 Had some of the best multiplayer maps ever

@@kukri31 I know it was a bit of a meta gun but I liked the ability to have the M4A1 full auto in BF3, as well as the AK-74 (given how rare that is in games). BF3 also felt...grittier, than BF4?
