@@MisterBrodo obviously the detail isn’t as good and there’s more effects and stuff but it’s a much more visually cohesive game. Also animations are just plain better.

@@MisterBrodo the overall presentation, I see a dense and interactive map, this makes it even graphically more impressive. The short helicopter chase in this video is a great example, this looks similar to 2042s Trailer, but can't ever be experienced in this game like that

The greatest FPS ever. Maps are great. Loads of guns. Amazing sequences. Just perfect. Still playing it now. Regardless of what system you play on we were spoiled with this game.

Best class balance. More universal weapons. Recons can use carbines to be more aggressive and engineer can use dmrs for vehicle heavy open maps,

I know this is oddly specific, but I've always really liked how the hit markers in this game dont have sound.
The hitmarker sounds in 2042 are so obnoxious, they sound like they're from some cheapass 2016 freetoplay shooter. Way better without any hitmarker sounds.
I still have ptsd from the hit marker sounds from COD:MW2
Hardcore mode has no hitmakers, which is what he should be playing. Normal mode is for kids to play

The maps in 2042 are disgusting, designed to have as much airspace as possible, almost completely flat. Reminds me of when I see my son play minecraft on flat worlds.

Yes Jack! BF4 is so gold! Suppressed ACW-R Recon is one of my favourite classes - going for those flanks and back-caps. There's no gameplay quite like this, I'm glad it's still getting some love 💙
I recently played battlefield 4 for the first time when it was on sale on steam a few weeks ago. amazing experience. pleasant surprise as well with all the active servers.
Is it just me or is the „heavy“ heli feeling from BF3/4 soooo much better than in BF2042???
Said the same thing…warzone and 2042 just felt cheap when you flew those vehicles It didn’t feel realistic as BF…it’s like in BF if you mastered flying a air vehicle it was satisfying because you knew there’s not some crazy amount of pilots out there hovering over objectives and doing crazy maneuvers etc…I just felt respected as a pilot for actually being pilot especially when I would swoop in with one of those big support Helios and pick up ppl like it was a movie or something 😂😂😂

BF2042 helis aren't real, they are so artificial and unintuitive. They have zero connection to real life nor gameplay enjoyment. It's like controlling a hot air balloon with rotors

It's a shame that they don't upscale it to 1080p on consoles and implement a fov slider
@@SuperGermanIrish If they do utilise the hardware in the new gen consoles for a BF4 port then the game would probably run at 6k 60fps at the highest settings(at least perceivably highest settings).

If youre on PC, you should give BF4 a shot (BF3 was better, but is less populated nowadays)
Well mate you joined when things started going downhill, BF1 was a good game, probably the most artistic battlefield, but it lacked the mechanical depth and scope of BF4
I mean, if BF1 was your first experience than I dont see how you could be that disappointed with BFV. Most complaints, aside from the historical accuracy stuff and bugs, were regarding downgrades from modern BF games.

BF4 had one of the greatest comebacks in gaming history and yet it have been overlooked by most. It’s insane how good it holds up after 7 years after the last patch. IMO it still is one of the greatest casual FPS experience on the market available right now. Best Battlefield indeed

Same actually, the one right at the beginning of 2020? He said 'I'm gonna be playing a lot more of this' and I realised that year was my last chance to play it ever, because why would anyone play it once the next modern BF came out, right?
Nothing gave me that same feeling I had when playing BFBC2 that time. Current games have more modes, better graphics ect. But there was just something special about bfbc2. The gameplay, map design ect. Would love to start it up again another time.

It's more than nostalgia. The only thing bfbc2 needed was graphics. After every release Fter bfbc2, I've been waiting for the game to be just as good. For example, the destruction. They have never successfully replicated that. I love bf 3 and 4. 1 and 5 are good. But bc2 had everything. Including a solid campaign that had me hooked and attached to the characters.
This is the best Battlefield without a doubt. Will always remain in my heart, i love this game 😍🔥

Great and BALANCED gunplay (you can use just about anything), cool gadgets, great maps, nice audio, still pretty ok graphics and EPIC and skilled vehicle gameplay. It's just so damn good this game. I'm playing BFV atm though. Having a blast. Played this alot again during the pre 2042 launch hype. Definately gonna pick it up again soon.

Oh yeah, so balanced. Those helicopters are just the definition of balance lol. I would kill like 60+ people per game dying like once in helicopters, and I'm not even a good pilot at all.

Well Jack just 1-shot one. Enemy heli can kill you. AA can kill you in 0,5 sec. Air mine+stinger kills you. Two stinger guys kills you.

Downloaded and played for the very first time in mid 2021 and absolutely fell in love with the game.
Management at DICE should be forced to play this game and take notes of what a true Battlefield experience should be like. Before they can make idiotic decisions.

started playing bf4 again about two weeks ago and there are so many people playing. it's so rad to be back on it. i had over 100k kills and assists with whirlybirds alone when i quit years ago. i always tried to main as the blackhawk pilot.

I understand why BF4 and BF1 are most people's favorites. I'll always enjoy BFV the best. I wish that had become the building blocks for 2042. Squad abilities, attrition system, animations, building mechanics, etc... I love that game. It had its problems and got flack for them rightfully so but yeah... when the Pacific came out and we had those two months before TTK 2.0... really loved that game. BF4, BF1, heck most Battlefield games are great. Hoping for a better future with a more unified community.

I will never forget Operation Locker, absolute meat grinder and loved it
Locker and Metro, though locker was admittedly more balanced. Winning from the bottom side on Metro felt like such an accomplishment. Wait for the tiniest sliver of an opening, haul ass behind enemy lines, hide and wait for squad to spawn on you, start capping their home objective then watch all hell break loose.

Exactly! Every gun in previous battlefields have a unique personality to them, that is exactly why I play them.
I sometimes wish Dice would either release more content for BF4, or adopt the game's systems for 2042. I loved BFBC2, 2142, BF3 and BF1, but BF4 is where I had the most fun.
Battlefield 4 is the only true masterpiece for me in the franchise.
