I think it’s a work of genius because a it’s him saying hello to the fans and the stage (which is the I Am Singer stage where he competed in 2017 he has come back in 2018 as a guest performer on the finale) that made him a star. He truly cherishes his Chinese fans because they embraced him from the first performance and never let go. So, he’s literally saying hello to them. But, I truly believe that the subtext of this song is the ‘east saying hello to the west, and the west saying hello to the east’ and Dimash is an interpreter in the middle showing us how exquisitely beautiful things could be if we all came together as one in our world. My last point…this is the fastest I’ve ever seen him break character after any of his performances, and I believe that to be because these two messages so fundamentally explain who Dimash is as a human being. He believes these things to his core of his being, and lives it in his every day life. Thank you for your comments and reactions to this singer. I’m 84 years old and I’ve been a fan (a ‘dear’) of Dimash for over five + years. Apart from his wonderful range and beautiful voice and delivery, he also is a very nice person. He began his training at a very young age, and there are videos I’ve seen of his upbringing and how humble and caring he is. Because he is a great singer and human being, he is bringing his followers together from all parts of the globe. It’s great that we are able to trace his career, and listen to his voice, which is beautiful. Thanks again.

Dear Sina, DIMASH blew this out of the water. He made it his own & BETTER than the original. In my opinion. The Eastern scales/runs demonstrates there should be no boundaries between East & West in spirit or in music. Even his putting in MANDARIN phrases shows he considers the audience. I luv Flamenco dancing and music because of the Middle Eastern influence. I luv his incorporation of ethnic instruments in contemporary songs. Before DIMASH I NEVER heard of the dombra or kobyz. They existed long before the U.S. was even a group of colonies. Even his closing statements include: Kazhk, Mandarin and English. One 🌍, one ❤️, one DIMASH. Thanks for your reaction ☺️.

YES... Exactly this observation, you've hit it on the mark! I've never considered it this way before, but the moment you call it out - its absolutely correct, anyone can see this after watching just a handful of his performances. This particular performance always moves me, because he moves BEYOND words and sentiment with that 'Eastern style Hello' - which is like a primal cry from HIS SOUL - and then transcends into angelic singing, which conveys less sadness and longing; it's almost like, the passion and hope of that love instead.
