Well as for me, what I interpreted was that the mv was trying to show us how it feels to be a kpop idol in a love relationship. When the kpop idols are In a love relationship, people hate on them for it. (Like for example what happened to one of the members of a kpop girl group recently called karina. She was forced by k-netizens to write an apology letter for dating someone and she wrote it; poor girl must be in pain😔) Then when the kpop idols are not in a relationship, the people are happy about it! Honestly, life must be sooo hard for kpop idols😢 And such people have boyfriend or girlfriend yet don't wish same for idols but prefer that they remain alone forever! 😢 So this is my interpretation for the mv😊

I loved how the PD describe the video he definitely understood the story line. Tae ended with the person he loves the most… himself which should be a testament that everyone should love themselves. Which also falls back into BTS motto of loving one’s self 💜
