I'm actually really proud of Jimin here. Contemporary dance is considered 'elegant' and Jimin was born in Busan. Busan is where "real men" or "macho men" are born (it's a stereotype) and he forced himself to be masculine to fit in. Remember 2013 'till 2015? In 2013 to 2014 he was known to be the most masculine man in BTS. In 2015, around dope era, he was still known for being quite manly. And then 2016 came, bst era(blood, sweat, and tears), he lost a lot of weight and becamd the most feminine in the group. People made fun of him because he sounded and looked like a girl. 2017, dna era, he wasn't afraid anymore and didn't care, still going through his own flow--and then it continued on to 2018, 2019, 2020. Now, he's not afraid to be feminine anymore and even did contemporary dance in front of millions and millions of people. He broke stereotypes. Feminine men exist! Just because they sound or act feminine doesn't automatically mean they're homophobes and not a real man.

@@benj9380 Mostly to save time. BTS had a long performance. It's also probably easier on the stylists and makeup artists to do their jobs, not juggling so much. Also some things are just easier and safer when performances are pre-recorded. Like the horses in the Dionysus intro. Horses get spooked easily, so imagine all that excessive noise from the audience with real animals on stage, it could've turned south real quickly.

It’s still crazy how NONE of the other top kpop groups even bothered to show up at the 2019 MMAs. How petty of those labels. It was a huge missed opportunity for promotion. The Korean TV stations were even forced not to show it. However, It did become the BTS concert special and us army’s were just fine with that, lol. Their loss is our gain. :)

When BTS was still rising up, Big2' (Sm,Yg) artists were participating of Mama/ Mma bc BTS was just a nuggu gp who got luck, not that relevant (Still pissed that BTS didn't get the last performance in 2018' festival even tho they were the biggest of that year) . But when BTS got the top, the Big2' artists 'suddenly' stopped going to. Imagine sending golden spoons' gps to an award show only to applaud a silver spoon gp getting all the daesengs , they couldn't never.

But anyway, BTS performances are still appreciated and highly praised by million people no matter what and having less artists attend doesn’t affect their ability to burn the whole stage/avenue/stadium with their epic performances 😂

I like the guy in the middle, the one with slightly linger hair than the others. He seems happy and "alive" with spontaneous reactions and not stiff like so many of the other idols except BTS. Some idols look dead inside. A pity he's not with them, he would probably be happy with them and their personalitys.

I'm actually really proud of Jimin here. Contemporary dance is considered 'elegant' and Jimin was born in Busan. Busan is where "real men" or "macho men" are born (it's a stereotype) and he forced himself to be masculine to fit in. Remember 2013 'till 2015? In 2013 to 2014 he was known to be the most masculine man in BTS. In 2015, around dope era, he was still known for being quite manly. And then 2016 came, bst era(blood, sweat, and tears), he lost a lot of weight and becamd the most feminine in the group. People made fun of him because he sounded and looked like a girl. 2017, dna era, he wasn't afraid anymore and didn't care, still going through his own flow--and then it continued on to 2018, 2019, 2020. Now, he's not afraid to be feminine anymore and even did contemporary dance in front of millions and millions of people. He broke stereotypes. Feminine men exist! Just because they sound or act feminine doesn't automatically mean they're homophobes and not a real man.

@@benj9380 Mostly to save time. BTS had a long performance. It's also probably easier on the stylists and makeup artists to do their jobs, not juggling so much. Also some things are just easier and safer when performances are pre-recorded. Like the horses in the Dionysus intro. Horses get spooked easily, so imagine all that excessive noise from the audience with real animals on stage, it could've turned south real quickly.

It’s still crazy how NONE of the other top kpop groups even bothered to show up at the 2019 MMAs. How petty of those labels. It was a huge missed opportunity for promotion. The Korean TV stations were even forced not to show it. However, It did become the BTS concert special and us army’s were just fine with that, lol. Their loss is our gain. :)
I keep wondering why MMA in couple recent years had so few artists attending. I don’t know if they were busy touring or what happened, why didn’t they show up? There were amazing performances here but it wasn’t played on the Korean TV stations. What a pity!

@@nataliepham9042 (My opinion) Arrogance. Their pride can't see BTS winning that much awards. They won't send their artist if they won't go back home w/ at least one award. When BTS was still rising up, Big2' (Sm,Yg) artists were participating of Mama/ Mma bc BTS was just a nuggu gp who got luck, not that relevant (Still pissed that BTS didn't get the last performance in 2018' festival even tho they were the biggest of that year) . But when BTS got the top, the Big2' artists 'suddenly' stopped going to. Imagine sending golden spoons' gps to an award show only to applaud a silver spoon gp getting all the daesengs , they couldn't never.
@@eviiea.m5649 right, what an unprofessional attitude because look at western artists, they attend music award shows actively despite those who didn’t get awards. But anyway, BTS performances are still appreciated and highly praised by million people no matter what and having less artists attend doesn’t affect their ability to burn the whole stage/avenue/stadium with their epic performances 😂

I like the guy in the middle, the one with slightly linger hair than the others. He seems happy and "alive" with spontaneous reactions and not stiff like so many of the other idols except BTS. Some idols look dead inside. A pity he's not with them, he would probably be happy with them and their personalitys.
I mean they must have been tired, i noticed how spaced out they were and they seem occupied (thinking about a lot of stuff). though of course theyre all trying their best to stay lively and watch the performance. they still ended with a great reaction cuz its BTS uwu.
