Rules for this Mario Kart Wii 200cc No Ultra Shortcuts Speedrun:
VS Mode

Strategic Items
No Ultra Shortcuts
(VS Mode options may be customized how one chooses. So yes, you can play on No Items and Easy CPU's if that's what you prefer.)
200cc is a game mode in CTGP Revolution (How to get CTGP):
• How To Get 200+ CUSTOM...
This is a "No Ultra Shortcuts" Speedrun meaning any skip that bypasses key checkpoints is not allowed. This is why for the Coconut Mall glitch, we do not skip the full lap and make sure to hit all the key checkpoints. This is also known as the "start-line exploit". Any glitch which manipulates checkpoints does not count the lap (ex. Grumble Volcano, Mushroom Gorge etc)

  • I love your 200cc speedrun series, it’s my favourite among all your other uploads because of the crazy shortcuts and the tension, so I’m a bit sad there won’t be any more. Congrats on the sub 57! Have you thought about doing a summoning salt style video about the record progression? I think it would be a nice way to finalise the series unless any groundbreaking new strats emerge

    • Platinum runner I think would be faster. Way more control. If you don’t have a bike with good handling in 99999 cc it goes bad.

  • IIRC The record for fastest speedrun on MK8 DX 200cc is ~1h 25 minutes on all 48 tracks (with no items). I've done this speedrun once, and got a 1:44:045. You can probably beat this time though Troy! I believe in you =) Maybe you could consider doing a 200cc speedrun for MK8DX.

    • There are a few Videos on YT about some drift types otherwise Google to get good lines i suggest race against good ghosts and try to stay with them or "follow" them
