    @Bflo23@Bflo2320 күн бұрын
    • He needs to step up sure but there's no team in the east the Celtics even need to be worried about. Milwaukees gassed, Philly got exposed, and the Knicks need Brunson to avg 50 to stand a chance

      @fakedazzleful@fakedazzleful20 күн бұрын
    • @@fakedazzleful I didn't say that he needs to put up 40 points. He can't struggle shooting with 41% though. He may stink it up vs the Cavs/Magic winner and they may be able to win the series. He can't afford to stink it up vs the Knicks/Pacers winner especially if Porzingis is gone.

  • Not having Porzingingis is going to hurt because Porzingingis makes the others better because he can shoot the 3 and take the opposing center away from protecting the basket. It isn't just about Porzingingis stats.

    @Bflo23@Bflo2320 күн бұрын
    • This will force the Celtics to play Hauser more and hopefully Tillman can get playing time because he a small ball center that can shoot the 3 (not as good as Porzingis tho).

      @RenaldyCalixte@RenaldyCalixte20 күн бұрын
    • @@RenaldyCalixtejoe has to roll out his subs for center more. I’m gonna rant for a minute. After Porzingis got hurt, kornet only played THREE MINUTES😂, Tillman got none. Al horford played 34 minutes and only got 7 points and 8 rebounds. Kornet got 4 rebounds in only 3 minutes.. basically half as many rebounds and got 31 minutes less of playing time with our starting center out. And we’re playing a weak and injured Heat team. Tell me why we couldn’t get our sub centers and get them some quality minutes, so they can be more prepared to play in the post season. they can get in their flow, and porzingis will be out so they will inevitably be playing more. We can’t rely on Al hordford as much, he’s getting old on defense, if you watch the games he’s one of the guys that other teams drive the ball on the most. I love Al, but his feet don’t move quick anymore lol. All in all, this will be a huge downfall of the Celtics in the long run if Joe can’t get the centers a good rotation of minutes, also includes our other subs. This should be a lock series, so it’s a good time to get everyone who deserves it some minutes so if they’re needed, they aren’t nervous. Just my observation 😂

    • @@michaeladavey3907 Joe is a guy that rolls with his guys that he trusts. He doesn't play match ups like Red Sox manager Alex Cora. Al Horford is the 5th option on the starting lineup. He's not going to accumulate a bunch of stats. I'm not saying Joe's perfect but people forget that the Celtics lost in the Finals with Ime Udoka and Udoka made no adjustments after Game 4 of that series. Also every playoff team has a starter who is injured or playing injured. Donovan Mitchell has played hurt all year and so has Tyrese Haliburton. Knicks are missing two starters.

      @RenaldyCalixte@RenaldyCalixte20 күн бұрын
    • @@RenaldyCalixte no I totally see where you’re coming from, this team itself has its flaws and sometimes I feel like no matter what any coach says, sometimes the players themselves don’t make adjustments. So I agree with you, it’s definitely not always the coaching. And the matchup thing, yeah he doesn’t specifically match up like Cora does but now we have to go a little deeper in a bench so I just think kornet should’ve gotten more than 3 minutes to get himself prepared a little more and get the playoff jitters out seeing as he had a bigger role this year. But if we win this year then I’ll really give credit to Joe for his coaching and making adjustments when they’re needed, hopefully his decisions in crunch time really pay off this time around we have such a championship caliber team I just hope everyone can pull it off when it matters

It's the fact that he jumped right under Tatum's feet, an act the NBA has been obviously discouraging for years and punishing with flagrant 1s without needing any malicious intent. And that was with Tatum not sticking out his legs to draw a foul like he normally does. Doesn't matter if it was a shot after the whistle, it's about player safety. It's not open season on a player taking a shot after the whistle. People need to use their brains, not their feels.

  • Nah Chuck trippin saying Boston win championship if the play their best. OKC, wolves and nuggets are above em, and mavs or clippers give em a good run for their money... Theres 3 teams on the West above em.. You cant compare east vs West... The reason they had such a good run on the regular season IS BECAUSE theyre on the EAST. I predict celtics choke in the finals... whoever theyre up against... they go down 4-2 or even 4-1...chokers.

  • Honestly the only obstacle keeping the Celtics from the Finals last year was the Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler. Now that he’s injured, they can pretty much get rid of the Heat and have a pretty good chance to go to the Finals.
