@@spawr845 How so? Since they haven't released the cause of death yet. I'm not big in anyone doing this kind of stuff for sport. Even though I know martial arts (Wing Chun from a young age) I was a military person and believe fighting should only be used for self defense and protecting those you love and those who cannot protect themselves. I believe MMA fighters are very arrogant and egotistical (The MMA fighting culture or the sport side of martial arts is very ego driven). That's just my point of view though. Allot of people I've met who brag about fighting are just arrogant people who are full of themselves (regardless of their skill). Not saying every MMA fighter is like this but that culture attracts that kind of person. There is a chance that this lifestyle attributed to her death in some fashion but we don't know yet. God didn't make us to use violence on each other especially for sport. If I have kids I don't know if I will teach them martial arts personally but I will raise them to be a Jesus loving God fearing person and to not seek violence if it can be avoided in any way. When I was real young in my grade school years I got into allot of fights because of anger issues and I grew up without a mother. I did hurt people and of course I got hurt myself from fighting. To this day I still have regrets being violent, but I'm not that kind of person anymore nor do I have to be.

Maybe a little more consideration would go a long way! Imagine if one of the Lees read that comment! Also, I can't say that I agree with you on the anti fighting sports stance that you have. You could basically say that all sportsmen and women from any sports whatsoever are an arrogant bunch! Lots of fighters are very humble, the definition of their training and usually most trainers make them so. Especially those from East Asia! I'm from UK and practiced a couple of martial arts in my past, our sifus Especially tought us to be humbled and how to use martial arts in every day life in a non violent way.

It's a terrible time for the Lee family and all MMA fans at the loss of a brilliant and naturally gifted fighter. I know I'm going to miss watching her fighting but that is nothing compared to what the family is going through! My deepest sympathy and thoughts are with all of the Lees. We all miss you Victoria.

This video was my first time seeing her fight and I didn't realize how young she was. She was super talented and I was looking forward to watching her compete. She would have made a great champion. Give them hugs and tell them how much they mean to you. You just never know.” But I don’t wanna assume. It just sounds like suicide is a possibility and I wouldn’t be surprised because I can imagine the stress and responsibility that came with her family’s name in this sport. At this weight knockout power is not tremendous unless it's coming from a leg strike. Unfortunately, a grappler has to eat a lot of punches to achieve an inside position. Once inside, the striker's advantage is severely limited. Their power comes from torso snap with the same foot planted as their dominant hand. Neutralize that and it's game over. (Easier said than done.)
