Steve never fail to amaze me in all his interviews, i don't know if it's his charisma or the aura that surrounds him...he seemed to have the ability to convey his message in a very clear and understandable way...i don't find many people can do that.

It’s 2023 and this video should be show in business schools in how to learn from Steve in been successful.
I get humbled all the time by Steve Jobs integrity, humility and his beyond comprehension imagination and drive. He was really a gem of humanity in my opinion and I miss the fact that he died, but interviews like this make me feel maybe a large part of his ideas and what he genuinely tried to convey during his interviews are very much alive. Feel really lucky to have lived when Steve was alive.
Once upon a time a revolutionary man comes along & changes everything.
His vision, the topics in this interview, is highly relevant today. He is truly a visionary of our time. He is such a genius. He co -founded Apple in his early 20, by 25 Apple Inc., already went public. He was so young in this interview that his presentation was so eloquent.
Internally driven, I do believe that Steve. Thanks for all your sacrifices to make the world a better place to live.

671JH there’s rumours that the cancer entered him during his 20s but he never knew about it. The amount of fruit he ate slowed the growth of that cancer significantly.

Yes, that was impressive and rare to see. The rapidity of a responding is so ingrained in most of us. Steve Jobs had some Buddhist mindfulness training starting at a fairly young age.

Most important part. 2:32 "America is in a tough spot right now, i think we've forgotten the basics we've so prosperous so longthat we took many things for granted and we forgot how much work it took to actually build and sustain those basic things like great education system thinkgs like great industry and we are faced with relearning those things going back to the basics (..) why we are outmanufactured why we are outplanned by Japan. It's not because Japanese are tricking us, it's not because Japanese are better intelectually it's because we are being out planned we are being out strategized we are out manufactured. There is nothing that can't be fixed but we're not going to fix it up here we are going to fix it by getting back to basics." So awesome words. So true. It is as actual as was back then. Nothing changed. And no tarrifs can fix it, no blaming others for own failures, omission. Stoping globalisation or trying to outplay it won't help either. It's about reengineering all processes, going back to basics, rebuilding by innovativeness, effective planning, strategy, going back to work. Nobody seems to be able to aknowledge such a simple fact. This man was incredibly unbiased and honest, going straight to the point, essence. That's why his monopoly grew so fast, outcompiting other companies by being innovative, not just copying faster, cheaper on bigger scale. Oh yes, Peter Thiel would tell you all great companies are monopolies, since competition eventually kills market draining profit to zero and killing all producers. You need to have a product which can't be easily copied, evolving fast, or build new innovative products to keep previous relevant by adding good brand and buying true customer loyalty. This loyalty comes not from marketing but from real value, concious faith in a good product, being a cofounder of the next great products and innovations. Product which gets worse is like a leader who doesn't deliver to his subjects, breaking a mutual deal, once lost faith can't be rebuilt, easily. Death of Jobs was a great loss for Apple. It also market ending of it's effectiveness and start of rising competition. Without creating anything new this market is toasted. Without Jobs it's nearly impossible for Apple to find the right direction and risking going there all-in to build the next backthrou while brand will be slowly diminishing.

@@CaptainPlanet007 nah, the strategy and aim is different. They're not at all focused on quality, but on quantity and flooding the market by saturation and blanketing. They are playing into modern American consumer culture which values throwaway objects. Also, post war Japan is very different than post war China. One decided very quickly to change their path to that of an ally and good global citizen as opposed to a rival imperial power, whereas the other has a chip on its shoulder dating from beyond the Opium wars to the present; adversarially attempting to become the next hegemony on the globe at all costs and teaching us all a lesson by living up to their namesake.

This means steal, cheat, buying politicians and influential to the culture..Hollywood! Hello everyone one thing we Learned from Steve job he said when we were borned world like that we can't change the world everything round us they call life someone made like you they are not better than or smarter than we can work harder save some money and having families good life that is minimum things if you say I can do yes you can do we are strongly believed in that statement we never ever finished any good education, but everything we touched must be done well thank you very much everyone for sharing knowledge that beneficial please post more it's very very important we are very lucky people that we know & knowledge that we learned without hardship experiences never ever ever happened

That is an interesting quote, the way it is stated. It’s been said many different ways. Being externally controlled and focused (unless by choice) causes all sorts of emotional and psychological problems that lead to poor performance. When you feel you have no power to influence outcomes you start to feel crazy. But even then you have the ability to control your attitude and gain a certain sense of freedom and power. This interview with Jobs was recorded 12-19-1991.
