      @justalpha9138@justalpha9138 Жыл бұрын
    • @@justalpha9138 I've always liked the way the newer generations of aircraft like the F-22 and F-35 fly. The maneuvers they can pull off are jaw dropping. I'm just more partial to the designs of the F-14,15, and 18 (16's for some reason never quite did it for me). Probably just because I grew up around them. As for your consideration of joining the AF....well I'd say go for it. I'm a Navy Brat myself which probably helps explain why I tend to like their aircraft more. But I say that if you have the desire to serve, and the dream to fly...Well then the AF would be a great fit. Regardless, you should follow your dreams, whatever they may be. Best of luck to you.

If I can, I'll do my best to get an F-35 slot because I really love that thing, and for some reason it calls to me loudly. It might be something that I should try to do. :)

    • @@justalpha9138 Well....I'm rooting for you if you go for it. Keep your grades up, try to earn a spot at the academy, keep your nose clean, and in the meantime learn all you can about flight theory and associated topics. Your local Civil Air Patrol might be worth joining as they might be able to give you a leg up on a lot of it. They'd at least present the opportunity to fly. There is no freer feeling in the world. An AF recruiter would also be able to point you in the direction of resources and the types of things they look for. Again.....Best of luck....Lord knows we need not just qualified, but committed men and women to serve in all branches. I truly hope you get to live your dream.
