  • Bill Walton's injury history is pretty incredible when you look at how much time he missed. He went one stretch where he played 14 games in FOUR YEARS. In total, the guy missed four entire seasons and had other seasons where he only played in 35, 14, 33, and 10 games. The guy was technically in the league for 14 seasons and only played in 468 games, an average of 33 games per year.

  • The most amazing part, even with Walton, Bowie, Oden, and Roy all going down with career altering injuries. The Trailblazers have still been one of the best teams NBA year in and year out since 1974.

  • Bill Walton got a ring, MVP, And FMVP with probably the most fragile body in NBA history. Just imagine what could have been if injuries never occurred.

  • 9:47 Walton wasn't a "role player" on the 1986 Celtics. 6'th Man of the Year in the closest to a HEALTHY season (the only season he played more than 70 regular season games + the entire playoffs) he ever had.

  • Should have mentioned Maurice Stokes. All-Star each of his first 3 seasons before falling and landing awkwardly on his head, leaving him paralyzed. Obviously, we're talking about a very different era, but the 60s could have been a lot different if he and Oscar Robertson had been able to team up.

  • You forgot Maurice Stokes for this list. He was just simply amazing. Stokes would have eventually teamed with Oscar Robertson and Jerry Lucas with the Cincinnati Royals. Stokes would have had a career equal to, or even better than, Robertson and/or Lucas.
