Costa Rica earned every one's respect, in this "death" group, everybody(I include myself) thought that it could have depended on the general goals to decide if Italy, England or Uruguay went out. I remember watching at 2am the match against Greece/Hellas, the amazing stop by Keylor against Mitroglou in the last minute. On the Quarter-final round Netherlands changed(right decision) the keeper to penalties and Cillessen got angry and he wasn't changed in the semifinal(this kind of behaviours are not acceptable) if the keeper is better when it comes to stopping penalties you have to think about the team, no one single player.
The Netherlands left us out of the World Cup but we left undefeated and with our heads held high

This defeat agaisnt Chile I think it was the best thing that could have happened on that day, we were already knocked out after the first match (5-1, the difference of goals and the feelings of defeat were decisive) if we had won the second match agaisnt Chile it would have been worse, because we would have thought that we had options but in the third match Netherlands and Chile would have agreed to let Chile 1-0 to qualify both of them. Since we saw the players it was clear that we hadn't had real options, because it was to give the "last dance" to all the players who had won Euro-World Cup-Euro, Atlético and Madrid players "killed each other" in Lisbon and Barça players were just thinking about vacation time and forgetting this bad season without a trophy. Casillas was not in his best moment, they told that he would have had to get changed in the second match, if Valdes or De Gea wouldn't have been injured maybe, but I would never change Casillas to put Pepe Reina. Diego López had been since the beginning of 2013 in his "Prime" with Real Madrid and he would have been a good option, Villa, Alonso, Xavi or Torres weren't able to play the World Cup, Villa in USA/Australia, Xavi already in Qatar(not yet but it was already known) and Alonso and Torres weren't in the best moment.
